I hate the chorus and the part that repeats game-boy so like 2/3 of the song, the rest of the lyrics are alright. Her voice is almost monotonous until the bridge. imp, It's also one of her slowest (and uninteresting) songs

I just need to put it out there how happy I am that everyone has put West Coast relatively high in their list and a lot of people have put it as their #1's. 

It makes me happy because I think it's one of Lana's best songs - it's evokes a sense of drowning in the dark, but also bathing in the comfort of a warm fire. It's full of contrasts and opposites - the verses are fast-paced while a breezy atmosphere enters throughout the chorus. The synthesisers that creep in towards the end of the track are so intense and emotional. I can't fully explain my love for this song.
