I never got the point of doing this on apple music since it’s so easy to just add unreleased songs to your music library yourself without the chance of it being taken down within a month lol. All it does is fuck with other people’s library cause apple music will match the files in your iCloud library to the ones uploaded to apple music. I noticed Taxi was sounding LQ on my phone and it was literally because apple music automatically matched the file with this exact upload . Anyways here’s a tutorial I found a while ago to avoid that for the apple music girls x

good girls was most likely a 192 kbps export originally like all the other spike refs and at some point was re-encoded as 320, no one seems to have the og unfortunately
