In her youth days, she married a German man and moved to Germany, where she lived for 18 years. In Europe, she used to perform at small clubs, the repertoire included Tom Jobim's songs and MPB classics. Fast-forward to 2013, when a video audition she made for Big Brother Brasil leaked on youtube and was an instant hit. Quickly she became one of the most beloved internet icons of the last years. She kept making videos and later in 2013, she was part of a prank tv show called Telegrama Legal. It sucks how people judge her solely for her appearance and way of talking/acting, but I find it impressive how she's SO humble and how most of the things she says is absolutely right, even though she may say it in an intellectual manner.
