I think it’s because with Lana having her origins private for so long, a lot of followers were ones which really tried their hardest to follow her in the intervals of her going public, so they care to see her posts and have notifications on etc.

she hasn’t been public fully for all that long now, so most followers are recent and invested 

 

Kim kardashian will have a lot of dead accounts following plus people who cared for her in the past but aren’t too invested now
