Edelgard 1,819 Posted June 30, 2017 Ride is my favourite Lana song of all time. I love West Coast but I can't really decipher what it's about lol. I guess it'd be 1. Ride 2. Video Games 3. HBTB 4. West Coast 5. Love 0 Quote All the roses are red, and Jupiter too

Topaz 572 Posted July 1, 2017 Not even gonna try to rank them, I'm not gonna torture myself. But I voted for Ride because for me it embodies what Lana is all about.
graham4anything 2,859 Posted July 2, 2017 at the time Video Games came out, it was definitely Video Games ain't no way anything could match it or better it at the time Ride came out, it was definitely Ride (but the full monologue and epilogue make it even better) ain't no way anything could match it or better it (and then came American as one of the greatest 1-2 punches in recording history) at the time West Coast came out, it was definitely West Coast ain't no way anything could match it or better it (AND the Ultraviolence album has the greatest three songs in a row in history (Shades/Brooklyn/West) following wham/bam with another three-fer followed by the two-fer that ends the official album. at the time High by the beach came out, it was definitely High by the beach (and then when the video came out, that sound in the beginning was known) ain't no way anything could match or better it leading to Honeymoon being an album one has to listen in full again and again and again, like an Opera the whole piece as one. (which is one reason no bonus, no filler). It just can't be cut. Either one gets it or one doesn't. A masterpiece. .... at the time Love came out, it was Love ain't no way anything could match it or better it then came Lust for Life then came Coachella- and I honestly can't think of how anything could match Coachella or better it to be continued. 1 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp
