I get how this got mixed reactions because the pre-chorus and outro are stunning but the chorus is a bit underwhelming

A cute song, but there was no need to advertise this a year in advance honestly. It’s a little better than I thought it would be, the instrumental bits are genuinely good, so there’s that. 

 

But overall, I’m past the need for ‘’post-Rick Nowels’’, understated, acoustic, middle-of-the-road songs. Looking forward to what will the rest of the album sounds like though.

beautiful… my only issue is the garageband stock strings 

 

i was expecting a guitar led song bc of the year old snippet so i think the extra production really took me out of it a little bit? especially when you already know she didn’t record it was those and it was added post-first version. LEAK THE DEMO!!!
