i dont know how to explain this but every time she puts out a new project, it sounds like her old self but with a new layer of reinvention.... it sounds like Chemtrails' folkish beginning, with the Paradise strings instrumental, the explosive and lush Born To Die (Summertime Sadness) pause to chorus, and the spoken words vibes from Blue Banisters (Text Book) and Tunnel (the Grants/Ocean Blvd) vocal takes as the outro  the way i thought it would have been a snoozefest and she provide me wrong again

i won't forget the losers who called this song boring. the instrumentation is beautiful  thepicture matches the song so well  i have no idea what she's singing in some parts  is she sampling brooklyn baby melodies like she did in sweet with wait for life??  i heard god said you were born to be the one to hold the hand of a man who flys too close to the sun

I swear insiders either hear the demo and assume that’s the final song, or they purposefully post negative comments for the thrill of it!

 

this is one of her most beautiful songs and feels like such a natural transition from cocc-bb-tunnel. I’m definitely ready for the whole album now!!

i was ready to love this song even though i thought it was just gonna be an acoustic guitar song but this song is amazing. I love how it builds and how grand it feels her vocals are so clear they haven’t been this clear in the years

2. Are the strings loud like in idk Cola or Born To Die or are the strings more quiet like in Ocean Blvd and Violets For Roses?
