sierramadre Posted yesterday at 02:30 PM Posted yesterday at 02:30 PM alright somebody help me out, what is she saying after the first “soft leather, blue jeans” … “pull us into 40s dreams, return it but say it was fun” is what I hear. the lyrics sites say call into void dreams or something but I can’t hear that and I honestly can’t quite tell what’s right 3 Quote
Make me your Dream Life Posted yesterday at 02:30 PM Posted yesterday at 02:30 PM I think it's cool n alrite that a lot of users like to reference past albums cus it shows a progression and growth of how her music has traveled and morphed and transformed to become what it is now. but. it truly does sorta just kinda baffle me, cus she's not really a remix artist, and I feel like the enormous body of work and catalog she's had for a while now just kind makes you think that her music's strong enough while still keeping it's spirit and essence in tandem. and with that being said, ever since NFR, her music's shifted atmospherically and grown into this more contemplative and mindful kind of place. love song, vb, to chemtrails title track white dress' elevation of quality, blue banister's underrated powerhouses of writing and sonics and ocean blvd's dreamier veil and candy necklace's dynamism alone. i'm not sure it holds steady ground to be able to say that ah well her music's never really changed from here to here, when the people typically saying this can't really be as open minded simply put to really absorb the song and how it plays into things a bit more reoriented than from before. how can you appreciate and track the growth that's yes, been reconfigured, but it's been on the memo to sort of have you actually really listen from a more mindful and conversational place with the music, of how, you listen as well. then of course you'll be more easily readily dismiss something cus the message wasn't even absorbed properly. like you don't blame the pen that you've got writer's block. you reframe your mind to get there and then write from that path onward and forward. bc I try to be objective in my analyses, I do think that the quality of her work is gonna shine thru, some easier to understand, and some a little bit more exciting to be able to empathize with and really discover. 10 Quote

Copied from Internet: Chamber Folk is a genre of music usually based on harp or finger-picked acoustic guitar that is defined by "an elegant and ornate style of arrangement and production," which incorporates various orchestral instrumentation such as woodwinds, horns and stringed instruments, usually in small ensemble form. Americana suits as well. 8 Quote

somber Posted yesterday at 02:57 PM Posted yesterday at 02:57 PM I've never seen this much positivity about a Lana single from X, social media in general, and on here. It makes me think that she'll have a big debut 6 Quote
Candy Necklace Posted yesterday at 03:03 PM Posted yesterday at 03:03 PM Look, I get it if Henry, come on simply isn't your cup of tea, if you don't like something, you don't like it and at the end of the day you can't force it BUT what I don't get is all the surprised faces that Lana released a country-esque song it's a simple song it's building off the sound she's been using since 2021 (arguably 2019 but imo NFR is different) it's not BTD/Jealous Girl/National Anthem Demo the tiktok fans love like Lana literally told us she was going country last year, dropped this snippet and said this album will be a lot more simple songs/Americana, like what did you guys expect (when I say you guys I'm mainly referring to the tiktok fans who are mad at this release) 7 Quote
ChaoticLipster Posted yesterday at 03:12 PM Posted yesterday at 03:12 PM Henry is a good song, a solid 8 and definitely different than the piano snooze I was expecting. I just hope she releases the album before her London shows, June 30th would be an ideal release date although with Lana’s track record of delaying records for no reason I’m not optimistic. 2 Quote Arches are Illusions solid at first glance
