Well if she just recently renamed it and it usually takes 3 months for the vinyls to get pressed we’re looking at a possible July/August release date which is actually perfect for such a sunny soaked country record about love and longing! I can’t believe I’m actually excited for a Lana delay haha.

 

As for the title, Lasso was such a good title  I miss her one word titles, not gonna lie.

I really hope she changed it 3 or 4 weeks ago, a month ago still kinda counts as "recently"

actually "the right person will stay" has really grown on me, i think this title is just so on brand with Lana, and it's a brilliant title since it can be simple and deeply poetic at the same time since it was a Lana's album.

 

But now we potentially have "lasso" and "the right person will stay" as possible songtitles if Lana still keeps the tradition of making title tracks, I believe these songs exists and will make it to the album.

I was just about to mention what you said in the second part. but maybe those could be song titles that were initially on the album and they were cut? or maybe they're on the album still but given what happened to rock candy sweet also changing its title to loved you then and now which also was cut when the album title changed, i'm willing to bet they're not on it

I really am so happy with "Henry, come on" it's so addicting im not even mad the album is not coming next month. And the new Neil photos... I mean wow. surely it's for the new named album. 

 & the excitement of stagecoach coming up, I am fine having to wait a bit as she tweaks and perfects the album lolol

 (it is nice she kinda jokingly smirked as she told us - she def knows we know how notorious she is about changing last minute and we being too Thirsty for more)

 

its also so fun not knowing what the name of the album will be !!! lets enjoy this mystery together!!!!

I love the theory that Lasso originally started as a metaphor for all the men she tried to rope in—getting close, pulling them toward her—only to end up hurt when they slipped away or let her down. Then, after getting married, the album evolved into something more grounded: the idea that the right person doesn’t need to be chased—they’ll stay. She’s been married about eight months now and seems to be spending a lot of time in the Bayou with Jeremy. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the newer songs reflect that—Southern Gothic vibes, please—and now the whole project is finally clicking into place. I think we’re in for something incredible.
