Since I'm in the process of watching all of Charlotte Gainsbourg's movies I haven't seen yet, I finally got around to watching Persécution last night. What a half-baked piece of garbage. I expected much more from Chéreau and I was let way down.

I ran out and bought it the day it came out because I'm so whipped and I wasn't waiting a day longer than the 7 years I had already waited.

It's not as immediately accessible as Little Earthquakes. You'll grow to like it more. THOSE STRINGS. COME ON. jk. Take your time with it. Most of her catalog takes a long time to sink in. Have they even managed to fix this yet? I can't believe that a major label managed to fuck up a simple pressing like this. The indie labels put them to shame, especially when it comes to packaging.
