I realllyy love her song Fireball. She has a few other bops but overall I find her pretty boring. Uffie has done most of it first and did it waaaay better. Even Ke$ha during her trashy party girl phase has a similar style of music that just outshines Dev IMO.

Even if the album is good I'll be disappointed if it's just a combined effort of hits. Her fame is continuing to rise; whether she kept Album II punk or not it would still get plenty of attention and probably do much better than True Romance did on the charts. There are LOTS of artists who've remained true to themselves and are still successful because of just that. Music is just better when it's genuine, and I'll be pretty upset if her next album isn't because she just wants her own #1 hit.

Closer is definitely special to me like those two tracks are. Pendulum and Kicks are equal in their greatness, but I don't know if they feel as special to me as Water Me and Papi Pacify..

Give Up is incredibly boring. tbh I should've given it a 6 but I didn't want to give anything less than a 7 on the album, and if I think instead of listen, Two Weeks is my least favorite. But I can at least listen all the way through it and kinda enjoy it whereas Give Up is just so DULL and I always skip it lol. Also bye at that Mariah stan saying Lana flopped with Dan producing UV. Did Me I Am Mariah even chart? It certainly didn't go #1. UV sold MORE than 3 times as many copies in its first week so bye

Kicks Closer Video Girl Preface Hours / Pendulum Lights On Numbers Give Up Two Weeks I really love this album. Honestly, I think all of the songs are pretty solid, with my bottom two being 8/10s for me. Kicks & Closer are MASTERPIECES and I don't understand how y'all can be so deaf and have them towards the bottom of your lists. Album of the year? Hmm.. most likely. I feel like it's more consistent than Ultraviolence and whatever else has been released this year that I've heard.

As long as you buy the album when it's out, slay.

Who are you to tell everyone what they will or won't be listening to in a few months? UV is a fine record and I'm sure most everyone here disagrees with you when you say no one will listen to it after a while. There's ALWAYS a thirst for new songs so that's irrelevant. Lana's obviously very happy with the album & was able to do what she wanted with it so it's pretty shit of you to disrespect that. She wouldn't have worked with Dan if she didn't think he was right for the album.

There's no way Charli has as many if not more unreleased songs than Lana simply because Lana's a good like 7 years older than her?? I mean we're probably still missing hundreds of old Lana/Lizzy songs we don't know of. :^) though I'm sure Charli has a LOT too but yeah idk.
