I haven't seen her in x-factor or interviews so Baby V can respond to that for me, but I definitely think she's doing what she wants music-wise because she's writing for this album and saying how she wants it to be personal and stuff. You can tell she's taking initiative with her music this time around.

I had a dream I met Charli!! It was really weird though. We were running around this neighborhood together, exercising or something. I was in my boxers. I don't know. There were lots of people, it was like a weird run-around-the-neighborhood group and I actually wasn't part of it. I was just running around by myself and we eventually started talking and running together, it was super cool.

I think, while her first album wasn't my thing, it was definitely well put together and original. Her new work sucks though, and it's really disappointing to see an artist that had so much potential conform into the sh!tty dance/pop/club mess that so many aspiring artists shift to. Sigh. I have to say though, her song Sugar is COMPLETE gold and I jam to it so hard.
