I’m not confused about your opinion I just don’t agree. Lol. Yes things are a little watered down but if Marina was really trying to sell out, I don’t think L+F is the record she would have made. I honestly think that creating concepts for her first 3 albums & trying to please all the ungrateful gays exhausted her & that’s why she decided to just relax & enjoy making music for the fun of it. Not taking herself as seriously or worrying about how “interesting” the lyrics sounded. Orange Trees is very simple and basic yea but it’s a sweet song that I personally think is just as Marina as anything from her previous albums.

I’m really enjoying not having a preorder actually. It makes each promo single exciting. I just wish we had a date & album cover or something.

I’m obsessed with all of the new singles. I honestly don’t think I can rank them until all of the album is out. I’m just like too excited & obsessed with each new song as it comes out ‘cuz they’re all classic bangers. I love how each song is kind of a throwback sound, but all in their own different ways. Blow It All has that slight twang going on with the guitar. I live for the giggle at the start too lol, & the super robotic WOO AHH @ the end of the song. it’s so easy to let Kim’s songs play on repeat for me.
