It's... Beautiful! I got some of my picture disc vinyls today, but I need moar! Dammit, I was so confident this was just another "meh" item, but it's not, whyyyy?!

I really like the lyrics, but in my ears the entire album is based on the exact same beat and rhythm. So yeah, it gets kind of blah after a while.

I used to be really into them before their album was released. Then I forgot about them... I just remember being really embarrassed on Taylor's behalf when she dry humped the table during the miss nothing music vid...

Agreed. We get it, the music is so sadcore, but it still show off these hints of hope and happiness. So why not flash a smile now and then to support this? I feel like she's all smiles when she's Lizzy and walking in the streets, and instantly pouts or goes all vulnerable as soon as she goes behind the camera as Lana. I don't know if this is an idea she's "forced" to live up to 100% to market her sound and image, or if it just happens automatically from her part.

It seems to me like she adores the idea of America and the old icons. In real life America is probably too loud and too big for shy and delicate Lana?

My dad has a very old record/vinyl (or wtf it's called) player along with a hard rock collection. It's from the 80's I think... I don't know if I'm allowed to touch it (the man values the thing, it's like the essence of his youth is still in it xD), but my Lana vinyls should work on it, or is it too outdated..?

Well, judging from her lyrics and comments about earlier relationships, Lana is probably not the best judge of character when it comes to men. But who knows - maybe he's a great guy, but just very uncomfortable in the spotlight? Can't be easy to have a famous girlfriend. Only Lana Knows for sure

Maybe she's being sarcastic? If she have/had daddy issues (idk, I feel like she hasn't talked about her family at all), then maybe that's her way of saying "gee dad, thanks for not making me more equipped to handle the real world" -.- But I personally believe that she's thanking her "daddy" (just another x who's a great deal older than her) for helping her mastering the art of sex. I mean... if the pepsi and cola thing was a complete joke from her boyfriends side, then I wouldn't analyze the song too much hoping to find a deeper meaning. It basically just has a sexual and carefree undertone in my opinion. But I have the mind in the gutter all the time anyway, so... :smiles:

Is it just me, or has she looked sad after all of her ride performances? This one as an example: It's just something off about her eyes and the way her smile just get wiped off her face. She had the same thing going on at the end of this performance, she looks tired. I think she looked happier before the paradise release, or maybe I'm just analyzing things too hard

The demand for vinyls was probably high, and they wanted to make more money, so it's a winwin for both parts I guess. But when they do this they could at least add national anthem, Blue Jeans and summertime sadness to make the collection complete. Where's the logic? Maybe they make a full set later, this is most likely just a way to celebrate the release of paradise by adding two songs from both btd and paradise. BUT: They could make a summertime sadness vinyl with the original single cover, it's so pretty
