I thought the same thing the other night. It seems like he is the missing link. Although I’m not sure if the timeline works. Per the article on Recovery Road he was in rehab possibly in June of 2004, but we don’t know Lizzys movements around this time at all, this was during her gap year. I really want evidence to connect Lizzy to RR as maybe that could tell us more. If she met Rob first I don’t think she wouldn’t referred to him as Mikey’s best friend. Or maybe she did to refer to a band people know about, who knows. Additionally, his moving around a lot seems to be a few years before his death (2009-2011 roughly). I don’t think they were much in contact during this time. He would’ve came up somewhere and she was deep in working on her record at this time, in London etc. Before 2009 I believe he was on tour with the STG. There’s also absolutely zero pictures of the two of them anywhere. I think someone else said it could've been a very short fling or friendship but as she said, affected her a lot. We don’t know a lot but I’m gonna keep looking. Crazy thing is that his full name was in her Twitter this whole time! PS I SAW THE K THING TOO

Yes definitely I agree! It has a strong triology in the beginning with tracks 3,4,5 for me. I fucking love those tracks so much. There’s also a triology of r&b and rap inspired music with LFL, SB and GL (I like r&b and rap so I like those tracks as well). And then a stronger, albeit darker triology with 14,15,16 (dark imagery and/or production). There’s like three or four different parts of the album. I think we’re just not used to something like this from Lana cause she’s always stuck to a theme and a specific concept with each release. But I think there’s something in it for everyone. Someone who doesn’t like the deep, moody songs has the rap and r&b inspired tracks. There’s some fun short sexy songs to counteract the political/folk songs. The is how most artists do albums, they have a little bit variety for everyone. It’s hard to take in for sure, but I’m glad she did something else and wasn’t stuck to one style or production. Overall it’s a good album, I’m just not a fan of country/folk tracks as much as the other tracks but they are still great and are just evidence that she can do any genre justice.

I love this record but being honest with myself I never get the urge to listen to any of the middle tracks (9-13) Coachella - Tomorrow Never Came. I’ll definitely listen through the album sometimes but I never pick those songs specifically to start. I usually start with 13 Beaches-In My Feelings and then skip to the holy triology of Heroin, Change and Get Free and then I’ll let it start over and listen to Love and LFL. I especially skip Tomorrow Never Came frequently, it’s a beautiful song but it’s a lil too folky/country for me and I got bored with it.

Thanks for all your research! I was just looking at her properties too! I can't stop once I started ugh! The house was pretty easy to find and according to articles and selling history, Fran was in possession of that townhouse until at least October 2015 as that's when he put it up for sale (and it sold in September 2016). He wasn't living there but renting it out. They were probably just there for a little while in-between renters or before he put it on the market. That's definitely the house though! The "Classic" is just how myspace renamed all the albums when they updated..so it was originally titled just The Lucky Ones...definitely interesting!

Maybe the tattoos were just fantasy or she saw them on someone else and liked the imagery enough to use in the song. Also we don't have any pics of him back in 2007-2009, maybe his snake tattoo was different then. We can't really deny the song is about him, Lana said so herself. Literally the one and only time we definite proof!
