lets set the record straight and I'm being serious when I say this could apply to the NFR recording process. I'll be honest right away and recognize that i think we all know that VeinsiNNeon would be ugly as all hell We know that as she entered the predominant NFR recording phase, she was approaching the music with a new perspective on the persona in which we all know as Lana Del Rey. In the months leading up to the beginning stages of the era, she began by prefacing her new take on the persona as with a "baddie attitude". Now if you love a good baddie moment like I and many more do, you will be surprised to find out that in by doing so, one must also approach their native vernacular with a new sight as well. In english, it's common for a textbook definition Baddie to make words shorter, phrases more poignant, more prominent. In a world where the incredibly hypercomplex bar of, "I used to shoot up my veins in neon" gets even more complex, bare with me here because this is also my world, said baddie chose to slate it as "Veinsineon" one word. Rolls off the tongue. Just the way she says it in the song. You know she slurs the words because, while also a tongue-in-cheek confessional, she hides behind the baddie attitude in the music to convey this further. And that is why in today's TedTalk I will be delving into the complexities of the Norman era, it's many one word references, slurs, brands created, minds touched, souls singing. People were playing that song at funerals... weddings... graduations...
