It’s cute. I would choose it over Solar Power but not over Joanne. There’s some truly amazing moments on there, She’s Not Him, Malibu, Miss You So Much but I think what aided in the poor aging of the album for me , was the fact it was a record meant to fix her relationship at the time, and every relationship narratively tied to the album has basically ended (with the exception of Dolly ofc) Liam, her Dad, etc. so essentially she’s just made the entire album meaningless, since she went back to “the old old new miley” title track is great as fuck too but yeah like someone above said, with Dead Petz turning 10 this year, it’s hard for me to give any extra thought to Younger Now. Dead Petz is one of the greatest albums of our lifetimes. I truly hope we can get something special to celebrate it!!!
