    St. Tropez

It's certainly not a deep one but is a really good song. Loving it tbh!! Lana is the gift that keeps on giving!! My little kinder egg
  2. Lana is so into vintage that I will call it derrière and not ass.
  3. You know Chuck people think like that because they take the easy way out (as society usually does). Look at that list he posted do you honestly look at that list and think religion is the cause of their problems?? Religion, race and culture most times are used as an excuse to the true reason why the world is the way it is. Politics and in the end power, natural resources and money are the issues not Islam or Chatolics. Religion has very little to do with that. I was talking to my grandma the other day and she told me she got to Libano a couple times when she was young for work and for holidays with her friends. She said that Libano was Saint Tropez of the middle east. That was just a beautiful amazing place to vacay with lots of parties and beautiful people. Look at Libano now. I think I get angry because some few mother fuckers stole me the opportunity to actually meet the saint tropez of middle east. Libano as my grandmother knew not me or you will ever see or know. In the end the lost is ours at least is how i see it. I don't feel angry about it as much as I feel sad and robbed. The senation that I have is that I was robbed of several places I wanted to go and several trips I wanted to do and I just won't be able to do because a very few ass minds decided to read a book upside down.
  4. I think what is wrong in this world is that people don't drink and party enought also don't get laid enought there for they get cranky ( is cranky even a word??)
  5. OMG is everywhere!! I saw in basically every journal! HA! what do you think about that?
  6. Ok I was waiting for you to mention Belgium and France since those videos were circulating AGAIN in FB and twitter last week. I can understand (not saying I agree - because I don't - but I UNDERSTAND ) some of your points. I am quite radical against radical tbh. Muslims, jeaovah's, christians all of them annoy me equaly. Maybe the jeovah's annoy me more than anyone else because they choose my UNI to profess their BS. Anyway I just think that fear is a poweful weapon of mass corruption. There for can also be a powerful weapon of mass destruction. I also get that the subject (the bombs in Boston) was highly mentioned in the news here. Well all those bombings are highly covered but this one was special because of the circunstances was a bit more me thinks. The circunstances I refere is the fact that we probably got a lot more cover and interviews that the other networks since Boston has a massive brazilian community. Also they cover a lot because of the olympic games and world cup. EDIT: because what we will do to protect people from such things to happen since these particular type of violence is completely new to us. Doesn't happen here and the government has to find a way a efficient way to prevent such horrible actions to happen during the games. So I get that the nerves on such subject are high right now but I think you are using the wrong words to make your points and sounding as radical as the ones you are criticizing.
  7. did you ever heard of Pandora's Box? Well you open it... congrats...or not
  8. yeah a joke with lots of truth because that is what you are if you lurke around this site. Get over it.

why you say she is been through so much?? Like what for example??
  11. what is wrong? You don't have a expression in German that is equivalent to music lover?? By the way was obviously a joke! The correct answer would be "do you think that stupid comment deserves a repyly?" or for some reason you think english is somewhat better than German?? Você precisa de senso de humor na vida ou tudo fica muito chato.

yeah for sure affected her. I think that someone who has a warm/affectious personality to be send away and somewhat isolated in a boarding school for so long must be very hard. Anyway I found her relantionship with her parents interesting and a mistery. She mentions them but there isnt any lets say warm in the mentions she makes. So true. I only have a couple of her early big mouth tweets wish I could see them all . They give a good insight don't they? I even think that was thread about Lana's early tweets...gonna check.

agree with that. Preach sister preach. I think Elizabeth gives us lots of hints to solve the equation. It's one of the things I found more interesting about Lana. She wants you to kind of find out and you to know that she created all that. She is her own creation. Unlike most artists, like Kurt that you mention it, she doesn't want you to assume she is not somewhat the character she is playing, that she is her own character and that is all creation in the end, the music, the visuals and herself too. Her character is also a funny one. Remember that story that she got a better voice because she fell as a child?? The sentence "I want to make my life a form of art" and now "my life is a form of art" besides being annoying are also a hint that she created a life for herself out of her own imagination. The bee lips are also a part of it. Sometimes when I give Lana tons of credit in the brains department I think that maybe, just maybe, the lips where a way to throw at society itself what they wanted and what they value. Appearence, beauty (or the concept of what beauty today is), superficial, images. The character Lana Del Rey was what people wanted or what most people find pretty. Since is the same singer the difference was the visual mostly. Other times I just think she got lucky and roll with it like most artists did and do. I think Lana is or at least tries to be a good person. I also think she lives as far away from reality as she possibly can and that was/is a conscious and rational choice of hers not a crazy act or thought. I think she is a good writer with a advertiser touch that makes her songs catchy. I think she has some family issues (with her parents) that are not really well resolved. She is a very warm person and her relationship with her parents is a mistery to me.
  15. What I found even more disturbing than the bomb itself is the fact that they put inside the pot BB and nails so they could actually not only hurt as many people as possible but also cause members amputations. Over 15 people had at least one member aputated. One of the poor guy's who was just watching a marathon got both his legs amputated on the knees high. A couple who was running got their foots amputated. A 9 year old girl lost her leg. It's so insane creating something that would harm someone in such ways so disturbing and sick.
  16. I think that is interesting. Sometimes I think that too than I just think with myself "stop being crazyi is the same person there is no "they" in the sense of different indivuduals. Lana and Lizzy are the same" . I go through that process a lot to be honest. Thinking of them as different individuals is quite strange but sometimes I just can't stop myself from doing it.

    Fergie

I love Fergie and I think The Dutchess was a great album. Love Glamourous, London Bridge, Fergalicious,..but Clumsy has a special place in my pop library
  18. OMFG Chelsea Hotel and this reminded me why I loved Lana in the first place. Take away all the production and leave her with a camera and a mic. This is her forte IMO. Simple things like summer breeze is where Lana's money is. Amazing just love it. Top
