  1. I am not from US so I am neither democratic or republican. Lana is a person like you and me why cant she have opinions? Talking about health care is normal for artists in europe and south america tbh. Talk about politics is normal. Why not be allowed to make constructive critics? Its so funny how in US the country that calls themselves the land of freedom no one can say what they think without being criticized for it. Not really for the opinions they have but for the fact that they expressed them. Kind of Ironic don't you think?
  2. Health-care, feminism are not intimate subjects LOL...its not like the interviewer asked what is the brand of her tampon. I dont understand how making questions about religion, politics or feminism can be considerated intimate. They are general questions about how she sees society and the world she lives in. Intimate is asking personal questions about her boyfriend and her personal life.
  3. What you said is not mean is totally possible. I think she does have that or she is really smart and created a character and is seeing as an outsider what people do with it. Like a philosophical experiment or something like that. Too many lies combined and pretentious answers but they seem to be attached to some form of critique to the world she lives in. I don't know really anyway only she knows .
  4. This interview is so interesting. I loved and hated some of her answers. Very bipolar opinion about it. Mostly she gives the same rehearsed answers but there are glimpses of her own thoughts in some answers. And those parts are interesting IMO. she is such a liar and a player is almost funny. Sometimes I think she plays the journalists. It's her little own revenge playing them. Like when she says she doesn't care about her image when obviously she does, the way she explains why she is not that into AMerica. Only the views, scenes and people. Or her answer about health care or Obama's election. SHe mentions his first election leaving space for you to think the realection was not supported by her. Or the fact that when she had no money she couldn't afford health insurance because was 700 bucks but now that she has money she loses it to the high taxes. Her take on music and her peers is also interesting. She puts herself in such high position. Like her and Barrie are the only true musicians she ever met and true poets. The others just want to be cool. SHe is probably right about a lot of them but NO ONE IS GOOD ENOUTHG for her? Common bitch....wake up. You're are not that amazing or her songs are not that soulfull. She also gets confused witht the dates she arrives, comes and goes from cities. Again as always they don't fucking make sense. By a calendar and put your life in a timetable lana! About her "charity work" she says she doesn't work with it in 2 years. On her other interview she said she works with charity and was also her message on twitter to ënovative thinking"remember that? Well or Lana has multiple personalities, or is a compulsive liar or she is playing the fame game better than anyone before because she really created a character for herself. "Actually, I’ve never read anything written about me that was true. It’s been completely crazy."

    Miley Cyrus

This up here is all true. But I kind of like her for some reason. we can't stop is one of those songs to warm up a night in a club IMo not thoughtful, heartful song just a dance floor song. If you add a good remix you can make it almost good. Also what's wrong with my ears...sometimes she sounds like Justin Bieber to me and in the beggining like Rihanna...weird.

  7. Some of my favorites Good Bye Lenin! (full movie link with english subtitles in case anyone wants to check it out) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC8HTpEWrm0 The Edukators The Dreamers The last movie I saw on theaters was Gatsby. I really enjoy it. Has the best quote I saw in movies in ages" Anyhow, he gives large parties...and I like large parties. They are so intimate. At small parties there;s never any privacy" . I am really looking for to see the Bling Ring now.

  9. I think the church can deny gay marriage. Its their right IMO. The State on the other hand can not deny that right. The State is for all citizens and gays are citizens just like any other. There for the State should be obligated to reconize gay rights: civil marriage and also adoption. A religion IMO its not obligated to accept or reconize gay marriage. Faith is faith and like it or not since no one can prove the existence of one particular God or even God itself you have a variety of religions to choose, it's particular and a choice. Not a law is just faith. Operates for individuals not society in general. The State shouldn't operate by anyway under religious influence. Every State to be fair and balanced has to be laic. I think such thing, denying equality to Gays and Lesbians makes a religion absolute but thats one thing is just my opinion and I can choose a religion that fits my thoughts that are based in equality for all human beings. The State on the other hand is here to serve us all as equals there for should be unconstitutional to deny any right to a particular citizen based on their sexual preferences. I am ok with catholic church, or any other religion, not allowing gay marriage but makes me cringe when the State denies equality to all their citizens. Basically I think this Russian campaign should be unconstitutional because damages the rights of a part of Russians population.
  10. fake. Look at the "L". In All Smiles and in Catch and release. The blur in all smiles gives it away. Also the "O"in Betty Boop Boop. Bad photoshop skills me thinks
  11. hope they at least give them a colorful prison cell and nice shoes to wear #rollseyes #everytimeaeconomyisshittheybringupthegayissuetothetable and #rollseyesupanddown

  13. Was even any doubt this was happening?
  14. This interviewer is certainly a Lana fan . I wonder since the guy from Interscope was listenning how much of this interview was meant to make Y&B a Oscar worthy soundtrack. if the campaign for the Oscar already started and they are piching Y&B. Lana sounds a lot more secure, more herself and comfortable in this interview. Plus imagining Lana doing the hoola hup is priceless. I don't know if she is going to do a US tour but I hope she does she deserves to have and feel the success in her own country. Just hope she makes a few pit stops in Brazil first after all we made her songs number one over here and video games, born to die, ride and dark paradise were playing in the radio a lot. Anyway I really enjoyed this interview thanks for posting it.

    Surf Noir music

Surf Noir is really a style which Lana didn't invented hahaaha and is also a slang lets say. Has also surf rock...eletro surf...Think Placebo style or Beat Connection like you said Beat connection's album is called surf noir. . At night surf is more dangerous, misterious and also more spiritual. the tone is more sad, the beats heavier lots of "wet' in guitars sounds. Its dark and romantic like noir cinema. Thats where the name came from. From what I know at least. Ps: I love Beat Connection too.

    Turkey

Istambul and Ankara apparently are getting several protests against the government. It was in the international section of the news today. They said that women are adhering to the protests as well. Police enforcement is jetting tear gas at protesters. Tear gas (from Latin lacrima = tear) is a generic name given to various types of skin irritants, such as benzyl bromide, or CS gas (o-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile) can cause temporary blindness and temporary respiratory problems. The world is so fucked up tbh. Hope things get better over there. Too many people are suffering and too many lives are lost while a very few win with this nonsense.
  18. Can I make a (probably) dumb question? Why is she 5x Gold in Germany with 500.000 and 4xplatinum in France with 365.000? Isn't she also 4xtimes platinum in Germany ? She is also Platinum in Portugal and denmark with 20.000 and only Gold in Brazil with 20.000 copies. Are the sales counted per habitant? That would be logical since Brazil and Germany are bigger countries with a larger population. I should probably google that.... PS: 20.000 copies were her numbers when she wasn't even in the top 50 she got to number one a month ago (I think) so those numbers probably changed substantially
  19. I don't know if I want to slap him or slowly bite his lips. So confused.
