okay but this post kind of proves that americans are inept in geography and history considering that neither serbia, albania or kosovo are anyway near any EU-institution so idk why anyone would expect them to be discussed in a lecture about politics of the european union jk i'm kidding but i mean.. did i lie on another note i had some lectures on former Yugoslavia and south-eastern europe in my voluntary courses in slavistics i guess most people who don't know any people from that area (and there's a lot of them over here and most of them get along in some sort of ~balkan unity) don't know much about the area except that it was very war-torn in the past decades but don't really know any reasons for why those things happened. and honestly i am not even sure if dua herself knows anything about it, her being proud of being from kosovo is mostly due to her being happy that the area her parents had to flee and leave behind is finally "free" in a sense that the war is over. the fact that there's barely any material on it in the first place kinda just adds to why most people have no idea about any of this.

there's a lot of songs that could be transition pieces, also i'm sure she won't perform random non-singles except for homesick or something like that maybe. songs like lost on your light, blow your mind, be the one, can easily be used to transition between songs, their sound isn't really off. also concerts lowkee don't need to be as uniform as albums as long as it sounds more or less cohesive.

there's a lot of things that have happened there's a pandemic which affects everyone and people she knows, said pandemic has also resulted in her entire promo schedule getting cancelled which probably already caused some sort of rescheduling of things and finding some alternative way to promote the record which, looking back now, was a ton of "useless" work because it has been overthrown by a leak which messed with the very rollout of the project, so it has to be changed once again like.. literally let ha live and be emotional about having to cut back on literally almost anything she had planned for the upcoming weeks and months and not just album related because there's basically a lockdown on everything else + the uncertainty surrounding the actual pandemic and state of the world. anyway leaks obviously hurt an album so i don't get how some people still try debating about how it doesn't matter on here.

idk if anybody mentioned it before but there was traffic stuck from the polish border almost all the way back to berlin at some point when they enforced border checks that is insane, even just a few kilometres take FOREVER once ur stuck on a highway border check up.
