ommmg this is perfect for a remix or fan made alt edit. It's a perfect frame for adding strings and a way darker and more dramatic instrumentalisation. It would fit so well. Thinking of the possibilities and potential they had with this song it's kinda dissapointing they didn't give it the grand instrumentalisation it deserves.

It's honestly not that deep. Everyone has acces to twitter and google and just by looking up some signed items u'd see that they don't look fake. Ugly? Yes some of them are definitely not nicely written and carefully placed but there's also items she signed that look even less like her nice autographs than the signed lfl stuff does.

Also Affa didn't become ride, it was possibly written at the same time but the general consensus is that affa is part of the early uv concept which black beauty is also a part of (which ended up being a bonus track). it would be fun if she were to do a rerelease but even if she did why would she put old outtakes on it she didn't want to release in the first place. I mean she didn't put them on the record despite talking about them and having a video ready to go. She even put a song she finished like a day before the deadline on the album instead.

you shouldn't set your bar irrationally high but you don't need to set it low as well. her festival period is usually worse than her tours. i remember when everyone freaked out on the opening night of the paradise tour. she revamped the live versions, had a new intro, new paradise songs included etc. the same went for the endless summer tour, she added unreleased songs and had a new concept for the stage. the uv and hm festivals were kinda lackluster bc they just adapted a few new songs to the old set. they replaced palms for twigs and then they replaced the endless summer probs with curtains and a new del rey logo and called it quit lol. even when the tour was off to a messy start (awful planning, awful prices, awful organisation in general) i kinda feel (hope?) that she makes smth out of this.
