I’ve been thinking about this. Considering the YT rips of the unreleased songs on Blue Banisters, I think the sessions of those old songs have likely been lost to Lana’s collaborators. I wonder if this has anything to do with why Fine China and Yes to Heaven have been considered for so many albums, but never found a home; they lost the session, and the versions online are fake and basically unreleasable lmao

by this i mean, considering Patrick thought he was talking to Lana/her team when he was making the mixes he sent Eclipse, I’m assuming that Lana and Rick themselves had never even heard the versions of the songs that leaked.

Black Beauty demo is soooo beautiful but i feel like it’s so different from those songs and i was moreso just trying to think of tracks that all sounded nice next to each other 😭 i’m really curious about the other songs in the notebook that came out of that Jan 27th session at The Green Building (that the Black Beauty demo also came from) though. I’m imagining Pink Champagne being in the same vein as the BB demo, it’s making me so desperate for it lmfao it’s never leaking 💀

the Tropico film aesthetic is very Paradise to me just as it was a year prior before the film came out but iirc (there’s been so much new info today lmfao) boz said earlier that the visual direction for Tropico was originally the concept for LDR3? which is really interesting to me

the wildest part of it is that even if they lost the session or something, we literally have all of the stems for Cherry Blossom and NOTG, like the whole session leaked 😭 they could’ve gotten all of the stems back if they just looked a little harder

Didn’t David confirm he lost quite a few songs he did with her? I think that’s how we got the titles Bounce, Coconut and Key Lime Pie, and High. He confirmed via email with a fan that he lost quite a few songs but still remembers what they worked on. That’s why I’m scared a lot of AKA outtakes are gone forever. Although I got that info from Lanapedia which isn’t accurate all the time so I’m not sure of the source but it just seems weird for someone to make up

i think we can assume the first songs recorded for LFL/songs recorded before 2017. so - Love/Young and in Love - Lust for Life (possibly one of the demos) - 13 Beaches/Something Real - Groupie Love - Heroin - Malibu/Get Free - God Bless America - possibly the unnamed political outtakes - Yosemite - Architecture - possibly a demo of Beautiful People - more of the apparently amazing LFL outtakes that are completely unknown to us
