You can definitely hear that Shangri-Las influence at the beginning, arguably the best part.
 
The Weeknd's vocals are really good. I can understand people preferring him not being on it, but I don't understand anyone saying his vocal is "awful".
 
Some of the lyrics are really cringey and/or unimaginative.
 
There's parts I like, but overall, the song as a whole... I'm just not feeling it that much. :shrugs:
 
Maybe my opinion will change after more listens, but rather I suspect the shelf life for this song won't be that long for a lot of you after the initial hype dies down.
