alcoholics tend to have a bloated look about their faces, it usually shows the worst in people middle aged and older, but if Lindsay is really drinking that heavily it would show. she def has that swollen under-chin thing going on

for sure Dum Dum isn't so much better than American on paper, I don't think her writing is incredibly different but it can sound a little ridiculous in the wrong setting. probably American's classic love song sound wouldn't fit the lyrics of most of Lana's pop or hip hop-esque songs.

I love it, especially because the vocals are so different for her. her voice sounds the way I always except her speaking voice to be like, rather than the delicate lil way she really talks.

agree so much, I got Sam's Town probably almost 6 yrs ago and it is still one of my fav albums. so good

would have loved to see her in that dress without the dracula cape. visible shoulder pads..

I like her styling most of the time. the combination of movie star hair/makeup and casual clothes is really cute. I really wish that she had left her natural features alone, of course she looks beautiful but she was just as gorg before

since it's Christmas time I'm watching The Ref. one of the best christmas comedies :grin:

beautiful. but isn't it odd to put someone with their eyes shut on the cover of a magazine? she looks like she's reattaching her face.

I wonder if she was unhappy with the before/after-show crowds. there were a lot of anxious people trying to get autographs and photos with her. too chaotic. no matter, it's not very wise of her to dismiss an entire country in which resides many adoring, merch-buying fans!!

hey here is something basically irrelevant I noticed: In Mizrahi's article about Lizzy, he describes her as "with American flags on each of her fingernails" similiar to the lyric in Boarding School "with American flags on each little finger..."

agree about You're Gonna Love Me! though I'd probably be just as happy to have a complete version of the demo, it's so lovely as is. also would like to hear Dum Dum rerecorded.
