AH I'm so excited to listen, but hasn't popped up for me yet. What would you guys describe the sound like? Any album and/or song she's done before?

Do any reliable insiders have a sense of the sound? She does mention HM quite a bit, but I could see this going BB, but also a little UV - maybe even some BTD. She seems to have a deep appreciation for her past work - particularly the first three albums.

Since its the 10 year anniversary of BTD, do you all think we'll ever get some upbeat tracks again? I love a lot of what LDR does, but sometimes I miss her BTD/P days where there was a beat, something radio-friendly. Will we ever get something like that again? Even one track (like a HBTB on a Honeymoon album)?

Yeah guess so. Regardless it doesn't sound like a piano ballad and that's all I had to hear. I crave something a bit more upbeat from her (psychedelic, hip hop, etc),,,,

I feel the only thing that connects FIILY ad DBJAG is a stronger beat. So sounds like it may be more up/mid-tempo and not a piano ballad.

Anyone curious why many insiders have heard many of the songs but no one has Black Bathing Suit? I’m curious why that is the one song no one has had access to…..

Same. If BBS is more of a radio- friendly bop that should be the next single just before release with MV. She’s done that before with a more ballad and then dropped a beat before release. it’s also high enough up on the track list and “single position territory” that this could be true.

They said it was a surprise. Probably something different that we haven’t heard in awhile or completely new. Freak/Art Deco are still pretty slow tracks.

Maybe this is what black bathing suit sounds like? lol.... jk

I wonder if "End of Lana Del Rey" and potential last record with Interscope means going indie/back to Lizzy Grant - literally dropping the LDR name!?!?!

Sorry last question... is there another single coming out before the release on 10/22? I actually had assumed it would be Black Bathing Suit because it's #5 on trackless which is 'single' territory I could also be totally wrong Thanks for the intel too!

I think an SNL performance would feel so right at this point. Arcadia is such a bookend to Video Games and would absolutely be a full circle moment. I've been repeating this a lot but if Black Bathing Suit is a bop it would actually be similar to Blue Jeans which she also performed on SNL. Maybe that would be a new single before the release??!?! Manifesting it....

I saw someone here or on Twitter mention that her fifth track have been mid tempo/up tempo bops (Diet Mountain Dew, West Coast, HBTB, Doin’ Time). Between the interlude and the fifth position of Black Bathing Suit, let’s hope!
