I was ecstatic to hear that she IS putting out a Sophomore album. When I read she might not do music anymore I felt like a lover was leaving me lol. 2014 here we come! -
I like the eerie vibe of Blue Velvet. Y & B is almost a conglomeration of all of Lana's songs rolled into one, from the melody to the lyrics. Not that it's bad, it just seemed sort of repetative to me.

I don't get what you mean.

This song hasn't grown on me as much as her other tunes. The video is nice, simple and understated. Lana looks and sounds amazing as usual, but the song just doesn't resonate with me like Burning Desire or even Blue Velvet.

I would love to hear them do a version of the Lee Hazlewood/Nancy Sinatra song One Velvet Morning. That would be mind blowing. -
Lana shines in these photos. So full of youth and life!

Nice that she is doing a song for a soundtrack! This way we get a new Lana tune to tide us over until her next album. Thanks for sharing!

Off to the Races is the first Lana song I ever heard. I had never even heard of her then I randomly clicked on the live performance of the tune from the Paris show, and was mesmerized. It is still my favorite Lana song. The beats, the lyrics, her entrancing vocals, the production. Once I heard that, I read about her SNL performance and how she was panned. Well, I like to make up my own mind when it comes to music, so I listened to more of her songs just to see how "bad" they were. I moved on to Blue Jeans...the video alone made me sit there with my jaw dropped. Who was this girl coming out from virtually nowhere? The song was so different and her vocals unlike anyones I had heard. I then started watching any online videos I could find, and saw her sing Without You live with just her and a piano player. Seeing her emotional reaction just from singing the lyrics made me thing YES!! FINALLY! Someone who is sincere, with amazing lyrics, and unique angelic vocals. Without You just aches and touched me on a personal level as well. Needless to say, I can't really express how glad I am to have Lana's music in my life.

I admit you almost got me! lol

People were somewhat shocked when I mentioned in a previous post that I was thirsty for new music. Well, thank god Lana is already working on the next album! lol. I loved Born to Die and Paradise, and have played them over and over. It just leaves me wanting more! This is great news! -
Lana Releases "Burning Desire" Music Video

I loved the video including the vintage clips. It reminds of her earlier videos but in much better quality. Killer song, too. -
I'm not bored with the music she has out now by any means, but it has been a year already.

I have listened to her music non stop, all of Born to Die, Paradise, and even all of her unreleased stuff. Can't wait to hear some new material!
