  1. I lowkey love that Taco Truck is so short. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that part of the song, but it's such a creative power move for her to give us one minute of a masterpiece and then say "although it seems I've gotten better, I can be violent too" right before she pulls the rug from beneath us and abandons the song completely to transition into a dirty remix of her most iconic song instead
  2. Canada's store still says 16 tracks and lists Judah Smith Interlude
  3. Why are people acting sorry for this thread lol, it already has more pages than Blue Banisters and Chemtrails entire threads and it's only been out 2 and a half weeks, and also has more activity than NFR or LFL had this soon after release. The album came out, we discussed it thoroughly and the majority of people adore it, and now a lot of people are spending less time on LanaBoards. Has nothing to do with the album's quality. I am personally still listening non-stop and sharing with people in my life who are loving it too, the replay value is very high. There is tons of variety, themes to explore, and details to uncover.
  4. I personally wouldn't respond at all. People like this are either trolls looking for a reaction, or incapable of critical thinking, and I have no interest in engaging with either At most, send them a Sure Jan gif and move on
  5. fuck life, everything here sucks, there's no music anymore yeah
  6. Lol this person criticizing people for hoarding and then flaunting the fact that he's hoarding a ton?
  7. I will need to sue for impersonation soon if they don't leak what they tease
  8. The weirdest part about people complaining about piano ballads right now is that this is literally a rollercoaster of an album. Like yes there's lots of piano, but are they listening to the same album I am? It's a whole wild trip.
  9. It probably is nothing tbh, I just feel like teasing the listening parties isn't that big of a deal so for him to vanish over that would be bizarre. They were definitely a fun bit of promo, but they weren't some massive unheard of surprise. @Mer is probably right and it was just someone reporting him for the cumulative spilling he does, but he posts about a lot of stuff so I wonder why he wouldn't just stop rather than his whole accounting being deleted. We may never know
  10. It's possible but he seemed more excited than the listening parties warranted, and didn't he also say that it wasn't related to album tracks?
  11. As much as I don't want to be delusional, and I mostly think a surprise follow up is super unrealistic, Boz's sudden disappearance does raise some questions
  12. After the absolute emotional wringer she puts us through on this album, nothing could be better than to end it with a dark and dirty Venice Bitch remix
  13. Omg I love this! I personally think VB is such a brilliant ending to this album and this interpretation is really interesting!
  14. I personally find it very beautiful when Lana sings about her family. She's not just providing insight into her own world, she's also encouraging us to contemplate those people in our own lives. A lyric like "my grandmother's last smile" is so powerful because how can someone hear it without considering their own grandmother's last smile? "Charlie, stop smoking" doesn't just make me think of Lana's brother, it makes me think of the people I love who are smokers and wish they could cut back too. "Chucky was there for three out of three" makes me think about rushing back to my hometown for my dad's final days. I think people get a lot more out of her lyrics when they find ways to relate them back to their own lives. Lana is a magician and she's very much placing these thoughts in our head for reasons that go beyond her in my opinion, she's just doing it in the way that is most personal and meaningful to her.
