i got the email RIGHT when she posted the video and thought it was another random person sending me a vid of their personal Lana cover. once i realized that it wasnt, i was literally crippled with shock! ive been looking forward to something like this since we learned about how Barrie wrote Lana a lullaby

back in summer '08 (when i was into her) i used to eat this very cheap but very tasty japanese candy and used to listen to these songs and play yoville on facebook dose wer da deys man. 

Is it us or do a lot of Lana Del Rey songs remind you of drinking? Sure, she ruined Pepsi with the idea that it takes like her vagina but other songs serve as great inspirations for cocktails that might just be perfect now that the weather is warming up. Even her new song (as heard in The Great Gatsby trailer) prompted a cocktail idea or two. If you ever wanted to throw a LDR-themed party, now’s the time to do it!
1. Grown-Up Cherry Cola

Inspiration: My p*ssy tastes like Pepsi Cola / My eyes are wide like cherry pies (“Cola”)

Ingredients Approximately 2 cups cola 1 ounce amaretto 2 ounces plain or spiced rum 1 maraschino cherry
Instructions Pour some of the cola into an ice cube tray and place in the freezer until hard. Place two to three cola ice cubes in the bottom of a tumbler. Add the amaretto and rum, then top off with cola. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
2. Blue Velvet Martini

Inspiration: Shoe wore blue velvet / Bluer than velvet was the night (“Blue Velvet”)

Ingredients 12 ounces Apple Cider, warmed 3 ounces Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon sugar 1 cinnamon stick, to garnish
Instructions Combine the cinnamon and sugar on a plate that the rim of your glass will fit on. Wet the rim of your glass with the cider or rum. Spin the rim of your glass in the cinnamon sugar.

she's actually really pretty and she seems nice everywhere. what people don't understand is that when you grow up in hollywood you're bound to fuck up.. imagine being followed by paparazzi your entire life. rumors (big ones) spread about you to the entire world. and the stuff that happened to her and her family were not the easiest. i don't blame her not one bit for her acting the way she did because like it or not she was pushed to the limit. i honestly hope everything goes well for her and rehab helps her and she doesn't end up like Amy. i really love her movies and i do hope she makes a lot in the near future.

aw, she seems sweet, i hope she gets well soon. letterman's always an ass though so w/e. she was sentenced to go to rehab but i really hope she wants to go and isn't just going because she has to because that wouldn't help her at all. she seems like a good person and she doesn't deserve all the hate she gets.

Do you really think rehab will help her? I used to love her, and it upsets me to see whats she has done to herself, i hope she sees that she has a problem, and is not just going to rehab because she has to go.

This has been canceled due to me not being able to attend the concert. I can't attend the concert because Lana's management merged the two concerts on 15th and 16th May, into just 16th May in a different arena. I had already booked flights to attend and i'm not able to change them.

We're planning something else, and more details will be announced soon.

Am I the only one who has no idea what to say in these things?   I kind of do I guess, but it's either a bit cheesy/creepy or if I don't go in depth it just doesn't feel like I'm saying anything at all. But I really want to be in this! And my main 'talent' is supposed to be writing, ironically.
 
Can I write down my phone number at the end?   (I need a creep-checker instead of a spell-checker). I guess it's a bit delusional to think she'd make any use of it though.
