Norman Fucking Rockwell - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Creyk replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
She did better with the critics this time around + did the grammy museum. Her chances are the best they have ever been. -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsbiajGbYNM&t=97s 5:20 Her worst lie yet
-
B minor is her favorite cord? Surprising. I loved her mention of Young and Beautiful, but out of all her songs, that one does not need a new video. The one we have now is literall perfect.

Do you think she is attending the grammys? Because she is for sure winning her first one and I kinda want a cute acceptance speech -

The most insulting part is that she learns these stupid cover songs no one asked for (For Free fucking sucks, no chorus no melody yet she does it every night), and yet with the songs people actually repeteatedly ask her to sing, like The Greatest or California, "she doesn't know the lyrics". Well screw that. Why can you learn the songs of these nobodies you invite on your stage, and not your own material? That is what the people come for. -
Congrats on the pic! Also what even, these random revelations seem stranger than a stranger. She never really seemed liked the athletic type although apparently she power lifts too.
-
This is very weird. Because considering what we know about her history with drinking, it doesn't seem like age limits mattered much to her before. Besides, wasn't she a recovering alcoholic by this point? As in she can't drink at all or she can't stop doing it?
-
I don't find the new song catchy I'd be surprised if it became a hit. It's like too subtle.
-
I hope she will cover Wichita Lineman if she is there.
-
She has 74 patrons? Lucky lady.

if you are referring to devil I know songs with a rock edge do not really succeed. Halsey tried and failed this year with Nightmare

This can't be it because a lot of people were asking for The Greatest but she ignored them. -
Highschool Sweethearts is still a carreer highlight. I still get my life when the "you don't know the pain that you are causing your actions hurt so do your words" part comes on druing The Principal song every single time And of course Lunchbox Friends is overall the best song from the project.

Her words don't line up with her actions since, like, 2015.

Don't remind him No one wants to think about their parents doing it -
Hey Elle / mods! An idea I had but not really sure where it fits? It's so cool that we have these discussion threads for L4L, Honeymoon, WHF. I was thinking you should make one for AKA too, like an official discussion thread for the album as a whole and then there would be a place to discuss any thoughts about that body of work as a whole

I love the fans keeping their legs on Lana's neck, not letting her get away with this "I can't recall my own self-written lyrics" nonsense anymore.

Well I don't know about lyrics, she has so many different lyrical approaches in hundreds of songs, it's hard to pick just 1 and proclaim it's the best. Didn't she say Hope is a dangerous thing has her favorite lyrics on the album?
