Yeah it's quite dumb. Even Honeymoon is more worthy, they are just riding the coattails of her recent critical acclaim. Anyway, I do wonder if Lana is aware of all this praise, it seems she still cares what the critics say so I think it would put a smile on her face. (and maybe make her consider singing the greatest more often)

I think The Blackest Day is one of her best written songs and captures the charm of the Lana Del Rey persona with a dash of Lizzy Grant thrown in because it is honest, but does not try to be grandiose. It's like an evolved version of Dark Paradise.

I posted the video of her singing HIAB at the previous show in it's thread, in that one she asked the crowd to help her with the words to HIAB. The crowd sang a big part of the song then she said "well, that was unhelpful" because they missed the very first lines of the song (lana then did them beautifully). You can go and check if you don't believe it You clearly don't know what you are talking about. You are the one who needs to get out.

I was surprised how she said a completely different story about her firsrt meeting with Jack compared to the story she told over and over again during that week of interviews. But this story was better.

If she has such an issue with lyrics, I don't understand why doesn't she just search for the lyrics on her phone. Adele did it before when she had to sing a song she rarely does and it was fine, no one criticized her for it. Also wow that lady Lana invited to the stage today sounded very nice, she has good vocals. And it's good for Lana since she gets to slack off while someone else entertains her crowd for 10 minutes.

She asked the audience to sing HIAB for her too, and after the audience sang it to her she did the opening very beautifully. But she finished singing that song before the good part too. I would not be surprised if she did it, since she already does it on tour. Anyway. The good thing about these concerts is that artists usually say a couple of words about each song before they start to perform them so it would be nice to hear what she has to say about the songs when given the chance.
