Since we're in topic, I can't say that the SNL performance was good but it was certantly good for her career. Even tho she already had had a quite succesful single in Europe (Video Games) she was still mostly unkown to the big crowds in the US and the whole backlash was a great way to draw attention to Born to Die which was about to be released.
I still believe to this day that without SNL, BTD would've remained relatively unknown and thanks to the controversy it was able to reach a greater audience.

With this i don't mean in any way that this tragic performance was in any way staged since until today Lana is still depressed because of it and won't perform live tv (and last thing: has anyone noticed how she only performed in NYC ONCE after SNL ? it's ike she was traumatized)

Definitely a more mature audience, it's a very adult album which doesn't follow any popular trends nor has any uptempo songs that could draw the attention of teens. I guess that's why the critics loved it while her fans were disappointed

a few charts accounts on twitter posted this, saying it sold 900k pure copies (1.1 with streams) worldwide + it's absolutely possible since it was at like 650k one year ago

Okay obviously Black Beauty wasn't added as a bonus track just because fans wanted it. It was added as a bonus track because it was intended as a single from the original album and because it - apparently - was very important to Lana, she even said she had ideas for a music video for it.

I strongly believe it'll be released middle-March.

In all honesty even tho i got bored of the track pretty soon it was the most radio-friendly song on the album and so the best to serve as a lead single. Not saying it had many chances of becoming a hit, but with the good video and a new trippy/upbeat soung it sure drew some attention
