ok...I'm a bit overwhelmed by all those new information like Ultraviolence, her engagement/marriage/pregnancy (??!!)... But when is Tropico gonna be released on Youtube? Anybody knows it? Because somehow I don't want to watch it before it's official release. (I know it's dumb and senseless but I waited for it so long so it won't kill me if I wait a few hours more.)

Today I wanted to tell a friend about my favourite singer's new short film which already takes ages to be released, and guess what, I couldn't remember the title of that video (only for a few seconds but still!).

Why is she even repeating that retirement question and gives such a weird answer? Somehow it seems to me like she's doing it to keep the buzz alive until Tropico gets released or idk. Same with this candids flood, seems a bit calculated to me tbh.

Ok....firstly, Lana looks flawless. Love that dress and even those sunglasses! And Barrie....well....not really my favourite style, but it's up to Lana I guess. When I read the title I was like "what? is she's going back to her social worker life?' but then I saw the pics and laughed so hard!

All this is so exciting! Can't wait for any new Information! Does anyone else get the feeling that she's kinda talking to Whitman in her last tweet? idk but at least the "i adore you and thank you for inspiring me" part gives me that vibe. And maybe "farewell" means that she's leaving Whitman and his poetry behind after all this and starts off something new if we associate it with Whitman too.

And I began to develop my own little theory while reading but now I just don’t know it anymore. I shouldn’t read Lanalysis late at night…. Anyway, I’ve also thought quite a lot about who Black Beauty is about. The line “I dye my hair a darker shade of brown” hints obviously at Barrie. (or did she ever dye her hair dark before? I don’t think so.) So we could say BB is about Barrie and that’s it. (another random thing that caught my eye right now: Black Beauty – Barrie. But that doesn’t mean anything I guess.) But for me the chorus gives rise to doubts because I think it's more a dark and depressed song. Like some others said before: Well, I really don’t know anything about Barrie’s psychological state but to me he doesn’t seem that sad or depressed too. So I'm not sure if BB is really about him but right now I'd rather say it's not. Or maybe she’s mixing things up. Or maybe the song is actually about idk … K or whoever and she puts that dark-hair-reference in it to hide it from Barrie and make him think it’s about him.

I just found out about Ellie Goulding but I'm already a huge fan of her and her music. I first listened to Halcyon and after having it heard 3 days on repeat I also got Bright Lights. This girl is just amazing! I love her voice so much and I'm totally looking forward to her re-release of Halcyon. Right now I think I prefer Halcyon over Lights/Bright Lights but I'm sure it will keep growing on me.

I think so too. Or maybe they're gonna shoot the scenes for the other songs somewhere else and some other time. The white dress really fits the "in the land of gods & monsters I was an angel" part. And this albino guy could represent an angel too, or even a god? Then as a stripper she is confronted with other men who might be seen as monsters. Just a random thought...
