  1. Looks like people seem to be turned off by full lips (real or fake). But I used to wish I had them when I was 13 because the girls that I thought were pretty had full lips (Skye Sweetnam, Anna Popplewell, and a girl I was friends with....)
  2. I've always liked her music but I'm getting a bit annoyed by her lately. Her Grammy's performance was embarassing.
  3. Bubblegum Bitch - Marina and the diamonds
  4. I really like it and think it's beautiful. I get a folk and a little classic country vibe from it. It really suited her. But the album's sound is somewhat repetitive and probably won't stick to most people at first listen.
  5. I love the "mascara running down her little Bambi eyes" part!
  6. I just read the Audrey Hepburn biography (An Elegant Spirit) by her son, Sean Ferrer. An interesting read, along with many lovely pictures.
  7. Chocolate Eyes

    One Direction

I don't know how to describe it well, but that he seems irresponsible sometimes. But I understand he's young and famous.
  8. Lana becomes a reason why you're proud to be from the USA.
  9. I want to know if the following songs are Born To Die outtakes? "Hollywood's Dead" "Dum Dum" "Damn You" "Lift Your Eyes" "Puppy Love" "She's Not Me" "Children of the Bad Revolution" And what are some other BTD outtakes? Other than the songs that got put into the God Bless America mixtape.
  10. I just watched some videos. I like what I heard.
  11. A picture I frequently saw of Lana was one from the Ride video where she's laughing with her head up and wearing the NA warbonnet. This was before I listened to her so I didn't know it was her at the time. I assumed it was probably another random lame wannabe hipster chick on tumblr playing dress up. When I found out it was Lana Del Rey, I listened/watched Ride out of curiosity not expecting it to be much more than a boring hipster favorite pop act. (I was completely wrong, listened to the rest of BTR/Paradise, went further to search for unreleased/older songs, and became a big fan in a short amount of time instead). I have such an interest and curiosity in 1940s,50s,early 60s music, fashion, and entertainment. I'm drawn to Lana's lyrics and sound because of that, how she puts influences from stuff like that in her music. I think her vocals on Born To Die (the song) and Money Hunny sound like a female version of Johnny Cash. In my opinion, that's awesome! I wish my singing voice sounded like hers.
  12. I love the random budgie in that picture above.
  13. That's for now. I need a better cover under "LG & The Phenomena", and upgrade/decorate the picture for SJRQ (I like that picture of her I'm using right now).
