This song has become special to me and on my top list of favorite Lana songs. I was listening to the LFL album a lot during a time I went through a traumatic situation around the holidays. This song was one I was replaying the most. Her voice is simply beautiful and soothing in this track. The song mentions hard times, but still she sounds optimistic and peaceful. To me this song felt comforting, like it was reminding me "you'll be okay". Ugh, my confession sounds like some cheesy "music saved my life" kind of bs, but it was during a period where I was emotionally/physically hurt and some days it was hard to feel normal. I love Lana's music so much and this song was one that helped me put my mind at ease.

Ultraviolence. Just more of that rock/jazz influence. Born To Die was amazing and beautiful, but it was a long era and as someone said before, Paradise was like the sequel to it. Also, I feel like Lust For Life is like Honeymoon 2.0 but somewhat cheery and with some hip hop thrown it.

Even though "Guns And Roses" is one of my favorite Ultraviolence songs, the "you got game boy" line is pretty embarassing.

I think she could make her own cool version of "Bloody Creature Poster Girl" by In This Moment. Though it's nu-metal, the song has an vintage old movie type sound to it and the lyrics of "Marilyn kisses" and "poster girls" are like Lana's Marilyn and beauty queen references. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM_MN3CN-aM Can't really explain why for this one but I thought this could be Lanaesque. Probably because of the theme of being in a bad relationship but not really wanting to let go and at the same time the song sounds more soothing rather than sad.

I'm mostly into punk. Psychobilly, horror punk, Oi!, streetpunk, pop punk (as in stuff like Riff Randells or Tsunami Bomb). Some hardcore and vikingarock (scandinavian/nordic folk punk). I don't label myself a feminist anymore, but Riot Grrrl was something I grew up with and one of my introductions to punk so the riot grrrl bands I grew up listening to are still special to me. When it comes to metal I LOVE female fronted symphonic metal. I also like folk metal, power metal, and some 80s classics. Too many bands to name but some of my random favorites are Hole, Courtney Love, The Runaways, Vice Squad (and anything Beki Bondage), Horrorpops, New Years Day, The Spookshow, Epica, Delain, Evanescence, Deadline (UK punk band), As Diabatz, Stitched Up Heart, In This Moment. And currently I'm listening a lot to some long time favorite girly bands that started out around the 1990s/early 2000s like Kittie, My Ruin, Tura Satana, Jack Off Jill, Scarling, and Otep.

Some of my favorites I think don't get mentioned much? True Love On The Side, All Smiles, Golden Grill, Dum Dum, Let My Hair Down, Flipside.

Kind of a sad song, but it sounds so cute. I also really like the chirping birds added around the second verse.

I always thought Kylie and Kendall were much prettier than the 3 older Kardashians. And I was liking Kylie with the dark lipstick. I had never really payed much attention to if she had any work done as I don't care about that, but she does look a bit odd here.

People are overreacting by sending her death and rape threats, calling her a slut, and pointless names. She already got what she deserved when she got fired off the show and laughed at. But jeez, some people act as if she said she wanted to start a second holocaust.

Yeah this incident is disappointing. I was fangirling over Natalia since I heard about her 2 years ago because I loved her music and thought she was so beautiful... but now? I would like to think she was joking but her twitter post says otherwise. I refuse to believe anyone today thinks wearing a suit and slicked back hair is original, it doesn't sound real! The only other reason for this could be that she just wanted attention even if it was over something stupid. Either way that's a turn off. Natalia's crossed out of my pop queens and crushes lists. I still feel weirded out by how nobody outside of a few pop fanatic circles really knew who she was before, but now is suddenly the most hated pop singer on the internet after making a fool of herself. Willy Moon on the other hand is even more of a nobody in mainstream pop culture as he is only known because Natalia mentions him a lot.

Only 2 others that come to mind besides "C U L8r Alligator" on my previous post. Delicious - but I hear this is one of her most disliked songs. Catch and Release - I don't know how I feel about this one. Not a song I care for.

I trash talked her earlier saying I was embarassed ever having been a fan when the Bangerz era started. Well, I decided to give Bangerz a second chance today and I somewhat take back what I said. Some of the songs are actually quite good. I can't stand We Can't Stop, Wrecking Ball, and Love Money Party... but I enjoyed Get It Right, Maybe You're Right, On My Own, and Adore You. I still have hopes she'll make a country/acoustic album or more rock influenced music someday. And I hope she gets out of that emarassing "twerk/dgaf-rude-bitch/whatever" phase soon. 2009-2012 Miley was the best Miley.

The pictures of her with Courtney Love and Harry Styles in the same ones are everything to me right now

I could imagine Brooklyn Baby, Sad Girl, or Money Power Glory getting a video. But I think Florida Kilos would be the most interesting choice to make a video for. This is not gonna happen though.
