  1. I know.. but the 17 seconds of rapp over autotune mumbling wasn't very pleasant either. I hope really hope Lana's verses are creative like in Spender. *fingers crossed*
  2. We all have different tastes. We listen to Lana because we appreciate a different kind of music. Plus BTD had a lot of 'speaking rapp verses' & we loved it! It's just that it has that strong 'dark' vibe weeknd & all those pop artists are influenced by these days.. it's less of Lana & more of them.
  3. Pleeeease no heavy autotune in a Lana Del Rey album or generic rapp!! I listen to her music because it sounds so natural & raw & about real storylines & stuff. (We can listen to Katy or Rihanna or Fifth Harmony for synthetic bops) Can somebody hear the lyrics other than this line tho? I guess daisy is the symbolic flower for this L4L, just life rose for BTD & hydrangea for UV.
  4. I do hope for darker & sadder themes. She's such a badass at it.
  5. "Right line, right man Right mixture of cocaine and heroin" "White palms, baking powder on the stove, Cookin' up a dream, Turnin' diamonds into snow.. yayo" "High up in the Hollywood Hills taking violet pills Writing all of my songs about my cheap thrills" she seems to have experimented with a lot more than meth tho.
  6. I don't think she's gonna sing about coke or anything controversial on this LP. She said it's for fans & awareness & all that shit. If she can consider excluding the song '..War We Kept Dancing' just because it was too dark & didn't have a positive message then I don't know about coke.. lol
  7. In my opinion 'The Other Woman' cover was very graceful & original. It reminds me of her vocals in 'million dollar man' from Born To Die. If it's something jazzy, then I'm in. 'Summer Wine' cover was also amazing.
  8. I believe BAR is on the album. I was looking for a lossless version for West Coast & all the videos of that song have been removed from youtube by Lana's management. Not even a pitched version is available. (although I bet you'll find it on pico & all those mp3 websites)
  9. Oh God, I almost forgot about that! She might add interludes too. If there are 18 tracks then I'll peacefully wait till July. By the way, guys, can you make me understand why you guys want BAR (or Coachella, some of you) on the album, when we have already heard them? I mean BAR is great but don't you want a brand new track in it's place (something we haven't heard yet)? I just don't get your point of view.
  10. When did I ever say I dislike Tropico or that albino model? It was her magnum opus & I love it. You're just assuming things. I just mentioned this little dance sequence which was kinda awkward (https://media3.giphy.com/media/tQlK4PTtYadYQ/giphy.gif). I also praised her dance in LFL video (I just didn't enjoy the weeknd part, but that's just my personal opinion). Read carefully what I wrote before giving me that essay.
  11. Bummer.. it seemed like such an interesting concept. I wonder which song it is (maybe cherry!) & why it wasn't released before LFL when it was filmed by Rich much earlier. Promotional strategy perhaps. Thank you for the reply.
  12. I had a question. If this was the other video with Rich Lee, what were those pictures that were uploaded long ago with her friends & witchy broomsticks & all (something about super 8, idk)?
  13. 3 songs - Lust For Life, Love, Coachella? So if she'll sing LFL, she'll do it solo - no weeknd!
  14. I am pretty hyped up for Cherry (which, hopefully, we'll hear in a few days!)... but since LFL song sounds so mediocre & manufactured (thanks to Abel!), no matter how high-budget the video is or how beautiful she may look in it, it doesn't really excite me. In the end it all comes down to the music & the feels. I don't feel anything when I listen to that song now. ... I'm still hoping it better have a storyline or something (that might be interesting) not just her singing around with Rich's special effects & cinematography... also less of that Abel guy please.
  15. Well, that explains why the Ultraviolence & Honeymoon videos had such low budgets, compared to BTD & Paradise.
  16. Anthony Mandler was pretty awesome, by the way. Lana's music vids with him were like short art films. Now they're all without storyline. Probably because the lyrical content is different now.
  17. Lana's new favourite word to use in interviews is 'aware'.
  18. I think Coachella would have sounded much more elegant if it were produced by the 'Bel Air' guy, MORE piano & orchestra & LESS beats & bass.
  19. Maybe Stevie Nicks has a songwriting credit. Remember, Lana always covers an old classic for each of her albums. Maybe this time it is some Stevie's song she covers.
