yeah i agree! i was a little disappointed that the melodies sounded so similar but i actually like heroin better

tbh i feel like tomorrow never came isnt one of the strongest on the album 'cause it feels like she was like "ooh i'm playing with sean i gotta make it sound like the beatles" and the john and yoko reference, like yes, we get it, you collabed with sean ono lennon - on it's own tho it's like still a good song

Summer Bummer is already iconic

i feel like EPs for her are a way to bridge a gap between the themes she's portraying in her albums. like paradise was pretty upbeat like btd and but it utilized her slow, darker sound as well on a couple of the tracks so when Ultraviolence came out it felt very natural. But you didn't rly need one between UV and HM cuz they were kind of similar in tone. But LFL is such a departure from the past two albums so an EP would be like, a further musical explanation on the place she's at now.

Honestly ok I know u can't like judge a song based on its snippet but the groupie love one made me like nervous cuz I wasn't so impressed with it?? I thought it would be like really lush and trappy but it was just like underwhelming

i still don't understand why she would put CWIMM on the album. If she released it as a stand alone single, then she would have room to give us more music, which it seems like she wants to do bc she seems to be really feeling everything she records in this era. also that song is fucking not good
