Are we forgetting that Lana's influences are Britney Spears, Nancy Sinatra, Kurt Cobain, Elvis Presley?
IMO, Lana isn't just a typical Avril Lavigne Britney Spears that shits out the same kind of music year after year just because it's marketable.
EDM, Electronic, dance, whatever. Personally, I hope Lana is more mature than that.
Clearly there is a division here.
Fans that want Lana to make conformist marketable pop music (pop and/or hiphop) vs. Fans that want Lana to stay or become more non-conformist "hipster"
But that's natural, as Lana has made music like 'Off To The Races', 'Summertime Sadness', 'Go Go Dancer'... but then also 'Ride', 'Black Beauty', 'Chelsea Hotel No.2' (covered)
Personally, I think she's gonna mix genres again (as she's done in BTD). "Mix genres" as in mix genres within a song and entire tracks.
But she's an anomaly, so she could surprise us all.
tl;dr - Stop hating on the album already on the off chance that it is more like 'Black Beauty' or more like whatever-upbeat-song-you-dont-like

She will keep her 3 producers on this album too...so I think that we won't "taste" that drama
People help meeeeh!
Tweet my remixes to Rob. He will talk to Lana that she should take me as a producer for at least demo song. Then I will talk to Lana and I'll get you Roses and the other unreleased songs in return.
I promise

No more of these songs and their overused theme please. I need something more mature (Black Beauty, Ride ...)

Dont come for Emile. He might have overused some effects on BtD but he is a great producer in general

Emile put his stamp on BTD. Dan and Rick Nowels on Paradise. I prefer BTD definately. Out of these three, I prefer Emile.

I like Emile's hip hop beats AND Black Beauty.
Lana should work with whoever she wants to be a part of Ultraviolence. I'm sure she has a clear vision and is going to make the right decisions.

You are actually right, its very ultraviolenc-y. A lot of his animal characters are captured in a deep emotion, often in a weird "peaceful" angry, roaring and demanding - accompanied by beautiful oriental and natural themes - flowers in blossom, blue sky or under water with colourful corals... He connects ultraviolence and raw animal instincts with beauty.

Maybe we are just wrong. "Paradise Lost" is the name of Raqib Shaw´s (the painter of the pic) exhibition in NY. Emile just was amazed and posted it. He deleted Moy´s comment because he didnt want to mislead people.

I dont think Lana will come back to Paradise theme with her new record. Anyway, the pictures are gorgeous. Utopia, but I wouldnt mind if Raqib Shaw made Ultraviolence cover - in a similar way how Gaga used Koons for Artpop cover. It would slay
Or maybe Emile is just fascinated by the similar art things and themes as Lana.

Hmm...
So it might not even be related to Lana at all. Emile might have just been strolling through an art gallery hah! But Lana had the painting ' The Garden of Eden' tie in with the Paradise artwork (the back cover); could this be something similar? Asian influences? Are we getting an album full of Maha Mahas?
