I apologize if I sort of jumped on your post while ignoring the rest. I myself didn't know she said that line never happened in her personal life. I suppose my point was that we don't know why she chose to write about that. I'm sure that song does have personal meaning to her, otherwise I don't see why she would write it in the first place. As for the stuff about pedophilia in Put Me In A Movie and Lolita, I do agree that it is in questionable taste. But Lana has never really been known for being "politically correct" (hate using that term lol), especially back then.

We don't know Lana's history with domestic violence, so who are we to judge if she chooses to write about it in a song? It could have helped her cope at the time.

If Lana was lying, then why would she choose to speak about it at her show with such certainty? Sorry but I can't really see her misleading her fans to that degree. It also sounded like she was emotional, too. So this whole thing sounds like bs.

I love when she sings and performs with such artistic freedom. The way she plays with her voice on certain lines such as "i'm FINE" and belts out "one for the MONEYYYY TWO FOR THE SHOWWW OOOOOoooOOOO". It seems like she is playing with her live voice again more at her LA to the Moon Tour performances so far, so I'm very happy about that.
