The Grammy's this year is fucky, some albums and artists got redemtion while soo many others were snubbed or forgotten, it's a weird batch tbh Starboy is in the running for Best Urban/Contemporary Album iirc, so she could maybe be a part of that(?) Dua Lipa & Camilla Cabello were snubbed for Best New Artist, while a girl like Alessia Cara who's been making notable rounds the last two damn years is in it..lmfao Issues by Julia Micheals is up for SOTY which baffles me..like i've never heard of this girl or her song, i looked it up today and it has had 0 lasting impact anywhere in detroit, phoenix, or san diego when i visited them for several weeks (n where i live) Gaga getting submitted and nominated for best Pop Vocal Album for Joanne...is..why..? There's like 3-4 songs at most that even sound like pop, i guess the same can be said for Lana but at least on the 8 tracks that are more modern and pop she actually served some risky but payed off vocals unlike miss mellow (fucking love Joanne but..really.. ) There's a LOT of nominations from 4:44 which is weird because for such an unyped album to get that money is mindblowing, it's a good album but literally nobodies been able to hear it due to Tidal restrictions n bullshit, i've even heard his tour isn't selling out ? Weird. Awaken, My Love up for AOTY is alright, i love the record but it didn't really make a splash in terms of defining the last year of releases; It's only standout track was Redbone (rightfully so and rightly nominated for ROTY), and that was it. DAMN. and Melodrama quite literally defined the entire first half of the year in terms of albums and 24K Magic stayed having successful singles. Lana's only real competition is Divide, but knowing how big of a hard on critics have for more stripped back singer/songwriter angles in music Gaga also has a decent chance. FUNFACT: This the first year there are no white men in the running for AOTY!! Come on diversity!! SZA better fucking D E C I M A T E best new artist. no ifs ands or buts

She did UV right with the secondary cover, same with Honeymoon; their alternates were incredibly gorgeous and so were the vinyl's, would've loved to see something similar with LfL but she snubbed it n it didn't get a UO exclusive and the boxset is a mess like the HM one

i honestly wouldn't mind if the EP were to go through, that she could put the alt. versions of LfL songs on it (of course as an afterthought, not replacing tracks with ones we've heard- have a definitive 7-11 tracks and THEN add on the dif versions) I'm sure the guy was probably fibbing for the most part, but i honestly don't think he'd be that smart to try and make basically a direct coincidental release schedule to that of BtD on the fly. She liked them based on an old IG Live New Track Yosemite Lust For Life Demo 1 (Ballad) Lust For Life Demo 2 (Shangri La Version) Lust For Life Demo 3 (Blade Runner Version) idk it seems promising n i wouldn't mind it one bit

Bodak Yellow had more impact on the industry than Love- not hard to see imo, it got more streams, heard by more people. Do you hear Love being played at every sports game or blasted on playlists? Not really for most- it's BY. It's one of the most known Songs of the year, right with Shape of You, Despacito, and possibly even Humble. (Even though more GP/Whiter audiences didn't get it played like BY- not starting anything, just a fact). Love could've been a LOT bigger if it weren't for the leak, rushed release, and little promo after. Hell, do y'all remember when Lana got her OWN snapchat filter? When she was on the front page of Twitter, on every Snapchat News Story due to her surprsie Love posters across LA? (That her dumbass LA fans promptly ripped right tf off and stole ) Love could've been the contemporary/alternative song of the year. Or maybe even started a trend if it was lucky enough. It's a great song about positivity, released during a time nobody really knew what was gonna happen with the government, world issues, etc. Green Light is forsure on there only because NME n other reviewers seem to have such a hard on for Melodrama, I like the album a lot but I don't think it's one of the best, let alone GL being the best on the record- it just made a much bigger splash than most albums this year.

^Internet at this point in the US is deserving of a human right, in first world countries you NEED the damn thing to do pretty much anything. What this'll do is allow companies to throttle certain sites and sources as they please. Lets give a hypothetical, in some areas, especially the extremely poverse ones- we don't get very many options for cable, internet, or cell service. We fucking don't. A company like Comcast can hold a whole goddamn area in monopoly and any start-ups are going to have a damn hard time to do anything. Let's say Fox News decides to pay them off, Comcast can now make it hell to visit any other news site than Fox. It's also disgusting that it'll be legal for companies to charge for separate services, if you want to use music services you could have to pay a different fee, lets say you want to get Hulu, Youtube, Amazon, Netflix whatever the hell, but Comcast decides to have their own streaming service (hypothetical) they can just make every other one of those sites run slow as shit and force you to use their inhouse services. Prices for said services can literally go up due to them having to pay more taxes so their speeds don't get buffered or worn down by the providers. People don't have that kind of fuckin money, surprising I know, not everybody can afford every little damn thing most people on here can. It was considered a Title II utility so it couldn't be throttled, I'd rather have a level playing field open for freedom of speech and 0 forced bias from my provider than any pro-capitalism service capable of forced manipulation and slower speeds for things they don't like. And the dude running for this to happen, he's IA, so? there's no point in bringing that up besides an unnecessary argument & light race baiting. His argument is that while companies can do this, the market can decide they don't want these types of unfair companies and drop them, except in many places there's literally 0 fucking option to drop a monopolized company like Comcast. Consumers can't decide where the market goes with 2 bullshit options, with a third that's 0 fucking internet. There's also the argument that people against N-N are giving that "Why do you want the government micromanaging the internet", if the Government (especially the admin we have now) was trying to micromanage and fuck with our internet in the way those saying think- they wouldn't be letting this happen as easily as it seems. One of the last things people can do is use these- call your congress, write emails, letters, ask and tell them to do the right thing. They're made to represent you and not the powerful companies paying them.
