it's honestly the weirdest but best feeling about it cus all the versions and i keep anticipating thinking they'll arrive already but it gets prolonged, but overall it's nice cus it is going to be released in march so it's an actual pre-release this time. didn't get the standard one yet just in case she does sigs but i'm ready to just stare at the rest when they finally arrive

i mean can u just imagine it. well actually we don't have to. she just released a new song last week, w an announcement of a NEW album coming in march. idk bout u guys, but holiday season's already filled w a lot of great atmosphere, it can be low but also magical. album's coming around march, a little past the end of feb and almost at the start of spring, where the holiday season's a healthy amount after. I kinda hope she does some kind of visual during feb and a buzz single at least before it drops

the second verse instrumentation reminds me of the bar in the greatest mv. this song's so perfect for the cold, for the night. but also those bleak daytime hours when the world seems so still as to not catch the heat. for the winter. the violins sound like ocean waves at the start and how they ebb on the shore. the piano makes it sound ceremonial that fit her turn, with the chorus sounding like vows but the under ocean blvd being repeated sounds like she's the only one at the altar the camarillo verse reminds me of elton john's 27 dresses song in inflection. the synth at harry's verse part sounds like a hawaiian ocean riff the choir singing behind her vocals sounds like she's being picked up from a night of crying, like daylight's touching her shoulder and the ah ha ha instrumentation at around 4:10 sounds like an underwater seeing the surface light moment, as if waking up from a convincing- reality like dream and it starts all over again this song demands an earnestness, some kind of authentic humanity from w/in you.

not barking, but at one point drew was me knowing/feeling to this song. i still feel it

it's kinda funny but nice this time around cus it feels like we're getting an actual pre-release era lol

its late so possibly quiet but. some thoughts. - it's kinda nice to think that the track has 2 diff song references w it. nilsson's and the other prod. (?) ref, haven't checked either, but it'll be nice to later on. - the song's had a very real impact personally. it's so powerful. - i don't usually like feeling like i have to beg (i won't do it) but especially insider stuff, but from what it seems like the thread's mentioning is the church theme, and i'm kinda wondering if the cult flip'll be just what's been grasped. lana wearing the shirt for the single cover gives me american cult vibes, so if tunnel's the softest song, i'm already thinking about the possible guilty pleasure aspects the album might have. i'm glad that we're getting this record in march, i'm looking forward to getting a lyric video for the track. oddly enough, i think it'd be too on the nose if she filmed a video for this, and just feel like another mv might follow, w this track being cameo'd somehow. can't explain but that's what i feel. i hope we get a kind of album trailer, or at least some visuals during a music video credits scene from said mv. gorgeous miss, you've done it again! excited for the next update
