sometimes i drink lemonade while reading this thread reminding me of the bittersweet nature of releases and it feels so camp

I love gatekeeping Lana, her music's like a secret zesty ingredient to life. besides some even on here can't appreciate some of her stuff so why the hell would we want her music overexposed to the gp that have had so many chances to treasure what she's offered so far. hope that changes for the collective better but I don't see the environment changing anytime currently so yeah

this conflicts me bc it's something i know many needed so i'm personally just enjoying it, but also makes me want more music. middlepoint at least we have this to enjoy regardless it's amazing

respectfully disagree and maybe i just try not to have much expectations n feel what she intends, but i think the simplicity works really well for the latter. it kinda captures the times she must've had about them. nectar sounds perfectly forlorn and blossom hits that nostalgia feel. it gives those simple feel days where you're out enjoying nature after a long period of languishing/ during

I think a happy medium'd be that it could end up being on the deluxe tracklist as a bonus. it's such a poignant and kinda devastating track, w her more stronger, classic-feel songwriting it'd honestly be sad to have it forgotten just like that. the melody and soft anguish's just top tier . she did the same w Thunder, and it's a contro. topic, but at the very least we have two versions we can enjoy (I do think the album version fits well tho, it's great) thematically, I do think it might feel a bit outdated to do so from bb's narrative/ experience, hence the bonus track treatment, but i do think that it's songwriting's just still very much in need of an official release. that and the outro sounds so much like a forgotten heaven

I learned to really save the new tracks, so I’d pace myself and drive early mornings, go to some secret favorite places or when I had more time, I’d bike down this hilly part in the neighborhood during sunset, hike find a spot and just stare at the skies, among other things. I remember the experiences I have attached with them and it made listening a lot more immersive.

Title. It could be about preparing yourself for new music, listening to already released stuff. Do you make it an event, if or^2 just for yourself? oh yeah no definitely, i just know it in myself how i like to think about these things. it's nice and softly exciting to do imo

i finally got to reading the w magazine interview and i think what she might've meant to say is that the writing might be a lot more quick and maybe even less filtered. what i want to know more about rather, is from where the album is sort of coming from. not much is going on, but strangely enough, i think once she shares something, a lot'll just connect
