  1. I think it's wiser to see both or diff sides to each situation, bc it brings a better kind of clarity, so ur all good. Points were made, we just have to live w those truths. Just don't let urself be eaten up by them ohmygod wtf I sound like a fucking hermit, but ur good
  2. I think I wanna change the tone or mood of the thread atm, not bc I'm trying to invalidate anyone elses' opinions, bc they're useful and peeps deserve to feel what they feel, but I think it's still as much important to end ur day w something hopeful and something to look forward to so. I think MAC's amazing, the production's so beautiful, heavenly and simple, yet still so majestic and has this subtle staying power of strength and reassurance. The confidence it has in itself is so reassuring and makes me feel so safe, and less alone. Venice Bitch is that track when I want to unravel, or just a nice guide when I'm feeling alone, acknowledging that I'm not ok, and just being able to vent that out by myself. The nostalgia factor, and how calming it is. Makes you feel comfortably sad HtD is so beautifully tragic. I mean, me personally, I have trouble w letting things go well after things have been over, like, what did I do wrong, what could I have done better? Was it all my fault I'm sorry. How can I do better, and that fucking line about "I'm always gonna, be right here" tears me to shreds it's almost embarrassing . Looking forward and a bit scared still even to reacknowledge that, but it makes me feel happy that I'm not the only one feeling like that too HiaB, might be cheesy or corny to some, but I appreciate it so much, bc whenever things get too good for me, I start getting anxious of like, how are things gonna go down, when will it end, and it just defeats me thinking like that. I wanna know how that track'll be formatted, and what her overall thoughts are, continuing the track and so. Hope fucking annoys me bc I can be so pessimistic to avoid hurt, but it's beautiful and self-revitalizing to still even do so. How strong is it to just face your worst fears, and walk out alive, like it's scary to change and leave pieces of yourself behind, knowing you'll never be the same, and ending some comfortable chaos sure, but that confidence knowing you'll be ok. Sure it can feel almost hollow, but to have faith in yourself even when the world, or even parts of yourself, that tells you no. It's fucking powerful. I think what I'm most likely gonna be looking forward to for this album, past the singles and merch roll out, is how she'll be able to just say the things she's been saying, like this feminine based strength of mastering your emotions well, acknowledging them, and moving past that towards better things. I think it's as much important to take care of yourself from the inside as well as the outside, so I'm hoping she's still gonna release more sad girl introspective shit. I mean we've all got the capacity of doing so, but I love her perspective and how she says these things, and shares it w us, so aside from the literal headaches, the pitfalls, and voids from waiting for what's next and how things'll turn out, I hope she releases something that's genuine, intimate, and long range important w this record. I like how she's managed to do that so far, and keep things fun. and I hope that w each day that passes, she doesn't deviate from that wholesomeness that she usually delivers through. Short answer: hope she doesn't half ass things, and that the wait's worth it. Til then, stream VB lol
  3. Maybe if she said it was finished, she meant as in like, history, as in, it's gone, wiped clean hidden in time from memory, and she's just trolling us lol
  4. I swear liking one post on insta just ripples into everything so much lol, but yeah they seem great hahahahahaha, I think another p might've posted pretentious 2012 Lana on her via another insta, I swear, I'm kinda just grateful to b lol'ling w ya'll about Lana-esque things hahahahahahaha
  5. Just so u know I ready this in New York's voice. We staaaan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_iM4Z8FkQg I mean I wish it were that way w me, but I think I heard VB first, and heard the ref and decided to do some bing'ing, but yes it's not a conspiracy theory it's fact. Different lanes, same highway tho Was actually listening to it driving in the rain and it was perfect. That song's so versatile imo
  6. Slightly off topic, but I mean lol, does anyone else love how she fucks w us? Genuinely? I actually think it's hilarious to watch. Who's boo boo the fool? We (Norman) fucking (Rockwell) are
  7. Banned for not having enough covers from recycled visuals bc this era's so fucking dry but wait it's not ur fault but still
  8. Those covers just, I love em! edit: wth u guys seriously need to reach out to her team w some of these
  9. @@MoreCruelThanYou https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQBFErxU2uY
  10. I remember this video, and how it looked like she was in such emotional pain sharing it w us, that guy better treat her right Only logged on to like this
  11. I- I can actually almost hear it when u said that, tried coming up w how it'd go after that part, maybe add another verse or so w more of a beat, but all I can think of is how similar it'd sound to VB's sing-rantings towards the end of the song The chords remind me of the same chords she used in the Blue Jeans video tho now that I think about it, hope the strings rip my heart out when we finally get the track. HtD's and Hope's chorus are heartbreaking Love was terrific. I made peace w/ the WM video, and LFL reminds me so much of Blockbuster idk why. I appreciate the whole vintage feel to it, and how they end up in a field of peonies (?). Her dancing w her dancers at the start was such a vibe. It was pretty stiff, but it worked? Idk, it just seemed right take into account them sitting on the Hollywood sign and everything
  12. @@LanaFlowers I think the substance is still there, like the shoot could've been so much better, but the frames were shaky and not in a good way, and was filtered a bit too much that it seemed so faint. There was hardly any warmth from it. I personally love it bc it feels like visiting UO or something, and even if the scenery's a bit glum, the industrial vibes of it would've been so so much more killer, if it were set during sunset where things get more dramatic easier. That or richer color skies but all I can see in this is my mint shirt that I like to wear when I'm doing nothing, and melted pistachio ice cream, which doesn't scream happiness for me, or butterflies. Still need the song tho! Noted ~
  13. I think, if u added some retro flick groovy font'd wordage to it, it could look like a decent old hollywood flick. 8
  14. Interlude over, I hope the artistic direction for the record's already been done. Based off the article @@Peachycream screenshot'd onto another thread, I can see why Machine Gun Kelly seemed to be theorized of being involved. Hope she added songs that stayed true to her original descrpt. and that she's just waiting for things to clear up, that or waiting for others to be releasing their albums soon, to be able to give NfR a proper entrance and introduction Still wondering if that insta post cpationed Norman Fucking Rockwell was the album trailer, and if that Ben was for it, bc it'd be shame if he wasn't, as repetitive as it was visually, the industrial beach city vibes were something I was looking, and still am, forward too
