I can see the vision for the more formal cover, but the nightgown one just looks a bit depressing to look at. I can imagine the nightgown woman just thinking, "what the hell? my door wasn't unlocked get out and close the door on your way out, it's getting cold!!"

so it's quiet again that I think it's time again to sorta just feel out the progression or rather the lack of showing of it, whenever the album'll be pieced together. you know what I miss? things are easy to figure out. to be present, of the senses but- I was feelin real happy today, the day was nice out, pace at work was almost pleasant even. I miss listening. to the music. to understanding what the feelings behind it are, and how that I can relate to things or maybe learn from it. it would've been a great addition to the day, but that kinda got me feeling a bit sad. the forum would be filled w lots of laughs, and I kinda think sometimes the forum deserves the almost kind of cold-shouldering but. it would've been nice to have something sent to the ether our way. Promise to cherish it, so manifesting something. but yeah, a pocket of feeling for this rn.

she's not our musicmaid, and part of what makes her an excellent artist is not listening to what anyone says/ deciding for herself what she wants to do. the release waits can be annoying, but that's part of the deal. take it or leave it n move on.

I had a dream last night that wasn't entirely about this, but a part of it was 2 singles being released. 1 was Henry, and she shortly released another single the next couple of days after. Do I believe it? No. But I'm also open to the possibility of it happening

I really just- after this movie, I honestly think that it was such a good cultural movement, and kind of gauge to see where someone's perceptions and level of perspective someone can be in. I heard that the book was a lot deeper, or at least more in depth, but I'm just loving the layers of good, evil, morality, how pieces fit together, what affects what, justifications, and a reminder to keep mindful of how you see things, and not automatically vilify something, and that not everything's black n white. I honestly think that the social discourse is a lot more complex than the actual movie, but I very much enjoyed it, and what it's doing for discussions. I'm kinda hoping it's a lot more mind-opening than just taking sides, but this sort of widespread conversation's just so good, and potentially actually beneficial for a group understanding.

I love her, god. I was listening to the fame yesterday and it all hits like wowow

I have a feeling she'll have a song that touches on the fires/catastrophe presently. and since it's so quiet I wanted to think of potential forecasts/ ideas 13 tracks adds to the gothic atmosphere. I wonder what register/ tone of voice will be heard cus it could go either way the fact that she's mentioned that they're stripped back, but still wants to release them means that they can be powerful, moving songs either way. last time people began to doubt her lack of ideas when blue banisters came out, she released OB, which is quite flawless. with how she's ahead of a lot of people in artistic vision/ trendsetting or rather forming her own path that others follow, I want to know what the direction of the stories are in the songs, the mindset, the pov. I want to know what endings the album will touch on, the scope of intended audience. I want to know what this album heals. I'm waiting for that unique perspective that only she can share of herself, and whether the others will still be here for it.

Well I'm just happy that it's not country anymore.
