  1. If we're going by the 11 tracks that aren't even confirmed:

    1.
    2. Happiness is a Butterfly
    3.
    4. Venice Bitch
    5. Mariner's Apartment Complex
    6. Cinnamon
    7. Sylvia (Plath)
    8.
    9.
    10. How To Disappear
    11.

Leaving room for everything else. Not to join in on the Yosemite bandwagon, bc let's all think for ourselves, but I'd really hope that Yosemite can make an appearance in all of this. It seems to be fitting the happier atmosphere that we've heard so far, less HtD, and it fits that north CA beach vibe. Holding out hope but it's real thin

  2. Ok but yo, I wonder why she's been teasing so many tracks as of late, especially when the release is still months away. I want to say a January release might be responsible, but that's only if everything's been done.

I'm glad we don't know much about NfR til, but if the release is already close, at the very least roughly 2 months, would an official release date be something we'd b getting pretty soon?

  3. Yes! Also its vibe reminds me of TV in Black & White aka my all time favourite unreleased song.

Also someone on IG compared its bridge to Us Against The World.

Shit I’m so excited for this album I want her to release it in December  :defeated:

Deffo that perilous bond/jazz sound is there. TV in BW is amazing, it's so lulling, I'd always think it was some sort of LiB pre-variation and would listen to this slowed version of it on yt (it's been taken down)

I just want another single LOL, but I get u

  4. yeah something about HtDs melody distinctly reminds me of Because of You, even Sylvia almost gave me a migraine cause i kept trying to shove BoY into the melody it sounds so similar

I think it might be the pacing, the snare drums, and the synths, the sound and even progression of it, like solid note notes, transcending up like it does at the BoY chorus. The sub-jazzy vibes too

and crazy enough, I actually think that Sylvia sounds more like a somber version of that Cherry Blossom snippet we got waaay back before.

  5. Me, simultaneously showing Lana all my love and support even though it's likely she won't release a song in October even though she teased it because she's a hoe that knows she holds my life in her manicured hands, and pointing fingers at ppl who thought for even a second that UV would be topped by Norman Freaking Rapnotwell

I was just watching Harry Potter and I LOL'd bc a wizard had the exact same face casting the death charm on someone

girl lets get through NFR's bullshit before we dive back into hazy surf-rock v psychedelic folk v disco bitch for another 14 months

I thought the surf/psyche vibes were still on  :icant:

  6. It sounds so pretty. I really hope she fleshes it out! I think it would fit as it’d be a bit surfy tropical type of song! The vibe from it is very similar to Life Is Beautiful, Roses Bloom For You, & Yosemite

I def get the lullaby, surfy vibes, and the bridge is still so heavenly but I think the pace of the song might mismatch when it comes to NfR. If anything, if she re-releases it, I think it'd be a good idea to really bring out the oceanic feel of the song too imo

  7. NFR feels like it will have blue aesthetics, idk why exactly

I get what you're saying, but Idk from what I've gathered, looking at N Rockwell's paintings, and the rest of how her discography looks (cover wise) it all seems to be more on the colder side of things, pic temp wise, (aside from HM and Paradise), a warmer cover would stand out more with the tracks we've gotten (which seem to be stronger and happier).

The MAC video contrasts with pink/shade of pink, from cold and serious, to something more lighthearted, and blue and pink seem to mesh well when the VB vid comes to mind. Cinnamon and the other tracks seem to be real playful, and blue would just seem uniform at this point, a pink shade/warmer color would be unexpected and almost refreshing to reflect that. Two cents

  8. Has anyone heard of this place? I think it'd be a perfect place to shoot for the cover:

It's got these small motel rooms inside too, and lots of other celebrities have filmed at this location before. Usually at the diner, but honestly, bring the sunset to this site, play with some silhouettes on the pool while ur posed sitting on the ridges of it, and you've got something perfect for the Venice bitch

Also, I just want the vinyl to b salmon/pink

  9. Releasing the poetry book before the album is a weird choice. She said she wanted to self publish the book so why won't she release the album and then release the book while on tour and sell it as merch? She would sell more books AND it would be easier for all of us who don't live in L.A. to get a copy, it's a win win situation  :crossed:

I think it's actually a smarter decision, from an artist's perspective. I think she'd want to release it earlier, to respect the work as a separate thing from her music. Also, when the albumdoes come around, people will be more used to/ aware of it, so it doesn't feel as forced. It could also be pre-album promo

and honestly, I've said it before, but i'm not really digging this to be the cover:

It just looks off, the color, how she's sort of just there, the ruggedness in the background, but her looking a bit flat. I wish the cover's gonna be her being more immersive in it. Something like her not posing, but a bit more candid, something that looks a bit more fluid. She just kinda looks like a Robin Hood here waiting for her uber that took too long to get to where she's at.
