  1. I know I'm not in the clearest of mind rn, so title. I'm seeing a flower swing, lots of lotus and floral patterns with Lana in the middle, and some kind of All The Lovers by Kylie Minogue mountain of lovers while Lana's playing her guitar at the very top. How would you stage Lana's halftime show performance if she ever did perform through it?
  2. I looked at Lana's set design for the Moon tour, and was reminded of Lily Allen's video. I glimpsed it a while back, and the feel sorta seems similar to what Yosemite would be like, but maybe in cooler tones, and well, less ranch, more nature inspired. I think a vintage feel would be great. Is this what you were going for? https://youtube.com/watch?v=fUYaosyR4bE I'm actually pretty conflicted because surf rock Lana just sort of slips off then mental metaphorical tongue, and maybe it's because it's rumoured that Lana's covered Madonna's "You Must Love Me" eith Evita vibes surrounding the possible EP, but that would be so amazing.
  3. I've been thinking for a long time now that when Lana rifts at the chorus of love, 'to be young, and in la ah ahh auv' that it reminds me of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, or The Time of My Life. It's like a light-weighted delicate sounding part of the song that just makes it so beautifully anthemic. I wonder if the possible EP follow up's gonna go more that course
  4. Honestly, still in so many ways, it still is for me. Exactly ahahahahaha
  5. I think I'll come back to this thread every so often. It's kinda like a journal entry. Right now, I'm relating a lot to Dark Paradise and Ride. Sunset and night drives are the best.
  6. I think it's really great actually that she's acknowledging herself a singer now from how she didn't before. It's like she's now somehow acknowledged her voice and how she'll use it from now on.
  7. I think Coachella should get a documentary looking vid of her touring.

  9. This and how she swoons in WTWWAWWKD and Cola. Imagine how entrancing it'd be
  10. Similarly how she was theorized to be a ghost in the Shades of Cool video, imagine she got to co star with a hologram in the future. That'd be something https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJABBmAMXnY
  11. Title. It just better occurred to me how amazing of a cast Lana's videos has been over the years of her career and artistry so far. We're all so well aware of how atmospheric and beautiful all her videos are, and how they seem to just tell a story and share so much all so subtly, yet still manage to linger in our memory. Just wanted to take a moment to just think about it, she's had an amazing sense of style, no doubt, and her costars reflect that too. Not to think of them as accessories, but more of a facet, a reflection of what Lana's world is thru her relationships with them. Jaime King in Summertime Sadness Bradley Soileau from Born to Die and West Coast A$AP Rocky Shaun Ross in Tropico: Mark Mahoney in Ultraviolence Father John Misty as a cult leader in Freak. and with LFL The Weeknd in the LFL video and Edvard Egilsson in White Mustang. We're all expecting some kind of video for Cherry, and I mean speculation is just what it is. Not sure on how it's gonna be, or it might not even come it's cool. But. For other videos to come along through new music (and videos) that she'll still hopefully continue to write and create, who would you picture being Lana's co star in those videos? An easier question, who would you like for her to co star with?
  12. I think it's pretty interesting to mention, that at least in my opinion, Blue Jeans seems to fit in between both rings of the Venn Diagram. The grandeur of sound, while still keeping the hot summer character quality to it (maybe it's the guitar and slow beat song tempo ..). Not to mention the visuals for it. Just a thought https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRWox-i6aAk
  13. Atm I wanna say, Never Let Me Go On Our Way Terrence Loves Me Video Games and Young and Beautiful
  14. Like how she mentioned the state of herself and her fame in cues from Ultraviolence before, and in addition to songs like 'Elvis' and also rumoured cover for Madonna's 'You Must Love Me' to be on the possible project, I'm thinking that Lana 'll probably be writing more of what her world is like after being in the music industry, and reflecting on her success as an artist now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCSEM5xpIx0 Re-listening to the songs, and being introduced to 'You Must Love Me' registered on PPL, I immediately thought of Las Vegas, and her just singing in an auditorium, thru her view, the opening of the stage framed to see the walls dressed ornately in gold, and seats wrapped in red velvet, multiple floors and a spotlight pointing straight at her, like a vision of a star, to her eyes. I'm not exactly sure, actually, I'm not sure at all, what Lana's got in mind when it comes to this EP, if it even is coming at all but. For the sake of feeding inspiration, what do you hope the EP will be like? What are some unreleased tracks you'd like to have on it? (And) What would the new songs be about? What themes would you like to see? What would the overall key or tone of the record be like? Speculated and mentioned already: You Must Love Me Elvis Backfire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uZZzteRccc How would you continue the list? Or. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVnU6Qe8IGE Would you scrap it for more of a glam rock, surf rock sound tracklist, following Get Free? I'd personally like to see what kind of grandeur Lana would serve with what current info we've got regarding the 3 songs atm. I want to see more of the old Hollywood glam through her view. Orchestral, dramatic, and if possible have more of a solemn sounding track in it, one or two. Then, ofc create the surf rock sound. Who knows tho, what'll it be? Sound off
  15. Actually, I think right around the 2:08 mark of the vid would vibe well with Cherry imo. I also like the use of color in it too, and how theatrical it sort of is. I personally think it'd be a bit too active for Lana tho, but it'd be interesting to see clones of her interacting with each other or something. Like hologram'd in different colors to represent some sort of emotional facet. That'd be cool
  16. I'm hoping that she releases her supposed EP around the end of Spring. Do u think she'll end the era with the Cherry vid?

  18. Blue is the color of the planet, from the view above. Long live our reign, long live our love.
