I think fan accounts might not follow her so tightly as we do here. I remember that it was much easier in a sense when I was just relying on news from Twitter fan accounts, it's much easier to forget about details such as Lana wanting to do a video for a song or hinting about a song which never made it *cough*Yosemite*cough*. It's easier to fully (blindly?) support her when people don't constantly remind you about things and small details.

I had to rely on updates from Twitter fanpages, it wasn’t easy and sometimes confusing. =P I tried to search for fan forums but I found none... I don’t know why!! I tried again in 2017 and LanaBoards was the first hit on google. :3And YES, she was so mysterious with her trailer park past, all her unreleased songs, her lyrics..! I remember listening to UV for the first time, thinking “what the f has this gal been through??!!” lol, she’s more like a real person to me now, which I don’t mind at all. <3

I was 17 when I fell in love with Lana (or maybe 16, about to turn 17, I don’t remember) and I had seen her face “everywhere” during that H&M campaign and read her names in newspapers but didn’t bother looking her up until... well, until I gave her a try and fell in love some month(s) later. None of my friends knew of her, but I learned later that a classmate/friend liked her as well. Another classmate only knew her Summertime Sadness remix (ugh). So glad I gave Lana multiple tries so she could fill my days with joy and so I ended up here.

Oh, I didn’t think this thread would be approved when nothing happened after a day lol. x) I was listening to the album some week ago and I just wanted to say that THE LYRICS ARE BRILLIANT AAAAAHHHH but I found no place to share my passion so I tried to make this thread a week later. Like, seriously, the way she used words, so many different words, was so clever, I don’t think she has ever found back to that ever since BTD? I love this album, from the sound to the melodies and the storytelling!

I dreamt that I stayed outside a fancy hotel in the middle of the night where Lana would perform the day after and they played Cinnamon on the speakers outside, so I tried to record it with my phone even though people were talking around me. Long story short, it didn’t have any surprises, there was nothing new in it that we haven’t already heard in the snippets (melodically speaking, I don’t remember anything of the lyrics) but it ended with “hold me, love me, touch me, honey, be the first who ever did” slowly stretching out, kinda like “aah, aah, soft ice cream” in Salvatore.

I kinda like her double buns, they’re cute.

My hope has never risen and fallen so quickly before..!

Noted, I’ll try to remember that.
