Lana to shoot with Steven Klein again: 3-COVER MAGAZINE PROJECT
Beautiful Loser replied to Elle's topic in Latest News
I hope they’ll come up with some exceptional pictures, I feel so desperate for something wonderful in this dry era, haha. -
I've been playing Super Mario Odyssey lately and I reached Bowser's Castle tonight. This song is really catchy!! Perfect distribution between playfulness and a bit of a dangerous vibe. I just missed real fire and lava at the castle, the lava was... pink instead. And shy guys. I really miss the shy guys in this game lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqyEvdalS4k

(The official homepage changed the tab on the menu from "STORE" to "TAKE ME TO MERCH" earlier today after Hozier seeing someone tweeting the suggestion a few days ago... I just thought it's funny and cool that he/his staff check what fans tweet about. ^-^ )

Hozier snatched the first place on Billboard's 200 too! Yay! Billboard also writes that Wasteland, Baby! "earned 89 000 album units in the US [...] Of that sum, 75 000 were in album sales". https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/8501829/hozier-debuts-no-1-billboard-200-chart-wasteland-baby

Many thanks to @@Amadeus for playing Malamente and Pienso en tu mira last night, this girl sure is different and special. I like how she mixes an old and classic sound with something new so that it sounds fresh and interesting. Her voice is great! Not everyone can sing like that. I just finished playing El mal querer and I’m continuing with Los Ángeles now. I might have to listen to El mal querer again to remember the songs properly. Edit: Whew, her VOICE in De Plata!!

The album got the number one spot in Ireland and a video for Almost was filmed yesterday. He shared a picture and it seems that the international women’s day could’ve inspired the video. Everything in this post screams “THIS!!” and you expressed my opinion perfectly. Thank you.

Oh, I never seen Lana as tan but whatever. :B I just mean that I’m glad I don’t see her promoting stupid (cheap) fashion brands or detox teas or anything and I’m glad she’s not traveling overseas just to take a few pictures and write a nice review because a flight company paid everything for her, lol.
-
I'm actually extremely glad she's not doing (or showing us) any of this, I'd die of cringe if she did.

I thought for a second that she meant the second album cover shoot. ;n; -
One dollar? Hmm, we’ll see about that...

Music video for D&D got released 15 minutes ago... Witchy king? O___o If I ever get close to the man, I'll give him a toothbrush to remind him to take care of his teeth in between possessing young women and getting himself on fire.

You’re welcome. ^^’

Yes. Do you own a piece of clothing that you want to wear but is afraid to?

These are things I have noticed as well but I haven't felt disturbed by it. And, just to mention, Link and Zelda haven't always been blonde. I'm not saying that Hylians are all great (the royal family (and Sheikah's) must have some kind of shady secrets for example - Shadow Temple in OoT is proof of that, it's scary to wonder what has been going on in there) but they are favored by the Golden Goddesses and Hylia since the land was created for them after all. I believe that the OoT Gerudo were banished to the desert because they were a tribe of thieves and kidnapped Hylian men... might not look so good in the eyes of the Hylian royal family. And I disagree with every incarnation of Zelda being helpless without Link - they both play a part in their fates and neither of them would succeed fighting Ganon if the other wasn't present. If you're into reading comics, I can recommend Growing Up Gerudo. It's an alternative universe where the authors uses characters from different Zelda games to create their story. Link is a child and Ganondorf has adopted him as his son, even though he's Hylian. So Link grows up as a Gerudo but every story needs some drama so I guess we can all guess that something will happen to force Link and Ganondorf to seperate. Even though Link is only a child, there is already some tension between Gerudos and Hylians. If I've understood it correctly, it's divided into two different parts: "child arc" and "teen arc" and I'm currently reading the child arc since I don't wanna contribute with money to support them and get all the pages immediately, lol. They post new pages for free on their tumblr site every now and then. http://growingupgerudo.tumblr.com/ I think it's pretty great, give it a try if you'd like.

I'd say Young Link in Smash Bros is from Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask.
-
Exactly! Almost all games have different Link’s and each of them have different stories so it won’t be a problem to start playing whichever you’d like. Most games are taking place after OoT anyway, but that’s not something you’ll automatically notice unless you pay attention to hints and know the official Zelda timeline. Good choice by the way! I think OoT might be my favorite Zelda game.

Norman Fucking Rockwell - Pre-Release Thread

I was thinking of this these last past days too, glad I’m not the only one who thinks this. I love her, but it feels like she prefers to just hang around with friends and living her life so I wouldn’t be mad if she took a break and lived a little and then come back with a smash. -

I’m here for her feeling happier, hanging out with friends, trying to take care of herself - who wouldn’t want that? I’m just not feeling that poem, but I think I get what kind of state of mind she’s in lately. She had thoughts she needed to get out but didn’t fit for a song. I think she’s aware that the poems aren’t all especially good, which was why she was hesitant at first with sharing them to the world. They might not be interesting to everyone, I guess she just had a need to write down things that was going on around her. But yeah, I guess I was expecting better lines since she’s mentioned wanting to be a poet once, “I’m a writer first” (which I guess she is in a way, she’s written SO many songs and lyrics) and the lyrics for this album sounds better (to me) than the lyrics we got in LFL. But we’ve only read two poems so far so I won’t be too quick to judge. -
The only two songs I’m not sure how I feel about are To noise making (Sing) and Sunlight. The rest... absolutely gorgeous!

Highly doubt it. As song made for his album will most likely not tell the same type of story she’ll share in NFR. -

I thought it was already confirmed that there won’t be any collaborative artists on this album? -
