I really don't understand why some of ya'll are so confused as to why Lana is putting out two songs in one day? They're promotional singles, likely not official. It's not like she sends any songs to radio so it's not that deep. She'll just release two instant-grat tracks once the pre-order goes up on iTunes and the singles will both be streaming on other platforms. Maybe one of the two will have a video eventually but who knows. I'm just grateful we're getting something.

mte. I keep completely forgetting about 13 Beaches but have a feeling it'll surprise me as one of my favorites. I hope it's more breezy and tropical than HBTB. And I'm so hyped for When The World Was At War. I expect it to be the album's opus like The Blackest Day on HM; a 6 minute epic.

She talked about Yosemite in the V Magazine and Flaunt interviews. She explains how it's about doing things for free and reflecting on a relationship where two people sort of drift apart but there are no hard feelings.

These are the numbers I'm expecting as well. Kind of sad, considering how far Lana is into her career and how she has the opportunities and resources to, quite honestly, debut in the upper 100k range if she really went all out with her promotion but we all know that'll never happen. All GP hype for this album is basically deceased and has been for a month. We definitely won't be seeing anything above 100k but I hope I get dragged later on down the line for being wrong about this.

Anyways, I just went on an hour walk out in the country and listened to AKA from start to finish and it put me in such a serene mood. I would love if Lana put music like this on Lust For Life. The light grunge rock with beautiful, personal lyrics that reference her hometown and her roots. I know it would be redundant but God it would be heavenly.

Perhaps her cheeks and eyes are puffy from crying after she peeped this forum. Either that or she's very sunburnt and swollen, pregnant, popping birth control pills, or stoned. Still gorgeous though.

Nothing too magnificent but I got there two hours early because I'm obsessed and so I got front and center and was holding out my hand in between songs and she left her mic, walked up, and grabbed onto it. It was a little awkward but I died. I love her so much and I'd kill to see her live now because her show and confidence has grown so much. She was so cute and timid then and now she's a fucking force. Unfortunately, she's ignoring my state on this tour.

I'm still pretty new here and just found the BANKS thread. Just wanted to say she is an absolute goddess and Goddess and The Altar are two of the best albums on my playlist. Poltergeist, Trainwreck, Mother Earth, and Someone New are my faves. I have inches touched Jillian's hand when front row at her concert on October 8th, 2014. Haven't washed it since. edit: whoever found these instrumentals, I adore you.

I think it's safe to say at this point that Lana and her team couldn't care less about "competition" and really have no methodical explanation for why they do what they do (or don't do).

Judging simply by the titles and few snippets we've gotten thus far, which songs does everyone think will be the classics of the album? BTD had Video Games and SS Paradise had Ride and Body Electric ULTRAVIOLENCE had West Coast and Shades of Cool Honeymoon had Terrence Loves You and The Blackest Day I feel like the classics from LFL will end up being God Bless America, Cherry, and Love.

I will never understand the Guns and Roses shade. I was just blasting it in my car and the guitars are beautiful at the end. Also, the harmonies in the pre-chorus are cool too. It's not her best song but it's certainly not her worst.

In my opinion, these are Lana's 10 best songs. I feel that they're all classics. 10.) Music To Watch Boys To 9.) Old Money 8.) The Blackest Day 7.) Summertime Sadness 6.) West Coast 5.) Shades of Cool 4.) Love 3.) Ride 2.) Video Games 1.) Off To The Races I'm hoping God Bless America can replace one of these.
