Those lyrics make me want to cry. Wow I can't believe people were doubting her ability to change her narrative.
  4. You guys talking about In My Feelinhs has me so excited I haven't listened yet but I have no idea what to expect. Also, never knew what to expect from 13 Beaches. Is it a HBTB tea? I hope not. And I knew When The world Was At War would be her magnum opus I can't wait to hear the snippets
  5. Omg Omg can't wait to listen when I'm off work in an hour thank you
  6. WAIT WTF someone catch m up?! Did the snippets leak?! Someone PM a link! I saw WTWWAWWKD lyrics and they have me shook "lean into your fucking youth"
  7. Guys the lyrics on Apple Music are taken from random websites. They're not official or given from the label lmao. It's "want my"
  8. I decided to listen to Summer Bummer and Groupie Love in my bed and I literally dozed off (in a good way) only to be awoken by the off-kilter kick drums of Coachella. I will say though that even her more beat driven songs are still so entrancing and perfect to sleep to. I literally listen to a playlist of all Lana songs every time that I try to fall asleep.
  9. It was Love, but after hearing Groupie Love. Phew! So sexy and so well-produced. I think Love is the superior song overall but because I've overplayed it, GL takes the title rn. I don't think it has feelings, sis. You should've just voted for GL like I know you wanted to. Can I say I love your signature. I see it all the time and just assume it's some legitimate advert banner.
  10. You know what though. Remember when this era started off with a very strong witchy, outer space aesthetic/theme. That was so cool and now NOTHING fits that at all. The box set would've been so cool with this theme but it just looks like the HM and UV box sets. It kind of makes me sad tbh. That whole aesthetic is so fresh and fancy for her
  11. Is it just me or when Lana talks about WTWWAWWKD she sounds almost annoyed. Like it was exhausting to sing and write but she felt it HAD to be put on the record? Idk why. But she was surprised Zane liked the song and in the first interview she discussed it in, she said it was very dark and that she wasn't sure she wanted it to be put out for that reason. On the other hand, the fact that it's "super dark" but she sings in a "soprano voice" with the highest notes of her career is very intriguing.
  12. Oh sis do I have news for you. Love is already a classic. Has been since its release and it's iconic video (70mil and counting babe). Lust For Life will grow with age. And Groupie Love. This will be a song we discuss for ages as a base. Summer Bummer could potentially be successful if they push it to radio and it'll introduce new hip-hop fans. Let's keep in mind there are 10 tracks we haven't heard so to jump to the conclusion that none of them will be remembered years from now is presumptuous and unfair tbh. My god, BPBP with Stevie and TNC with Sean Lennon are already destined to be timeless classics simply based off of the names and collars. God Bless America and WTWWAWWKD sound like they're going to be contenders for her magnum opus with "woke" lyrical commentary and iconic vocal tropes. I know I'm just as naive for assuming these songs will be remembered in years when I haven't heard half the album, but let's give the queen the benefit of the doubt. She's never not come through in the end. None of us thought Honeymoon would age so well and it has. Like fucking top shelf wine. Lust For Life has the hooks, production, lyrics, delivery to be her best work ever.
  13. Pre-order of LFL and the singles have a banner on iTunes and are the top 2 hot tracks hopefully they'll stop flopping now
  14. I actually think it's so cool that Lana described that she left Yosemite and BAR off the album and kept the more upbeat/ collab songs simply because she had a change in personality and mood halfway through the record. She said that Yosemite and BAR were written at a time when she was more reserved and perhaps alone a lot, more serene. But as she went out more and met more people, she must've felt more excited and happy, so her music followed that which is why we have beat driven tracks like SB Zane GL. We all know how she's been going out a lot and the fact that that is inspiring the music is cool to me. It goes to show that Lana is a person so heavily influenced by her emotions and her environment. When I write music or poetry, I can write something so happy and sexy because I spent a night out with friends. The next day I may spend it alone and I'm not sad about it, I just become more introspective because things are more quiet and I'm allowed to spend more time with my thoughts. I love that Lana isn't afraid to admit that she is human in the sense that she may be on one path one day and then completely shift to a different one the next. It may not be convenient for that shift to occur right in the midst of putting out a record, but I think that it is cool to acknowledge that change. She's a person and an artist who is sincere. She isn't going to put out another record that hasn't changed as she changed. This album has all the songs it should have and the songs that didn't fit Lana anymore, didn't fit the record and I can respect that. It definitely sounds like we'll hear Yosemite and BAR in the future and it will be our reward for Lana's progression.
  15. What is with this sudden Summer Bummer shade from Lana? They took down the Summer Bummer audio on YouTube and she just tweeted out her "new song with Rocky" and shared the Groupie Love link but not SB. Maybe it's the Playboi Carti controversy? Idc though because GL is the superior track and it's selling more anyways.
  16. You have it ALL WRONG sistren. Love > Groupie Love > Summer Bummer > Lust For Life > Coachella
  17. The GL lyrics are so cute and clever. It captures perfectly how it feels to be in the pit at the concert of an artist who you adore and love so much, but she throws in a romantic twist to make it very sexy. I can totally see her in the video, looking up at ASAP Rocky as he performs, like he was looking at her as she performed in the National Anthem video.
  18. Just think of how less messy this era would've been hadn't one of you gays leaked Love. The era would've begun in April, leaving only a 3 month span from first single to album release which is the perfect length, especially with two videos and 5 songs in between. On another note, I'm beginning to really enjoy SB. Definitely not very exciting but it's new for Lana and I like it for that. Also, it's still get a signature Lana feel to it. GL is pretty but that chorus is a bit repetitive. I like the trippy sound to it, it's giving me LSD vibes. I think Rick Nowels did a pretty good job. I still know the best songs off the album are ones we have yet to hear.
  19. Lana's best songs are growers which is why I know I'll love SB and GL
  20. You know what, yes, I just shat out 4 posts about how shook I am that Yosemite isn't on the record but I'm over it now. We have two great new tracks that I know will only get better with time and it sounds like When The World Was At War is going to leave me dead. She said she sings a note as high as she does in Cola. We'll get over this the same way we got over Life Is Beautiful (lmaoooooooo). Life goes on and I have a lust for this album.
  21. It's like Lana is asking for her music to be leaked when she talks it up and then never puts it out sorry I'm just crabby
  22. The fact that she said Yosemite isn't on the record because it's "too happy". 1.) I thought this album was supposed to be "happy" 2.) what the fuck 3.) Then why'd you talk about it being on the record in every interview sis 4.) what the actual fuck 5.) fight me lanz
