omg ! i can't be the only one who remembers but there was a time a while back when someone said lana had the idea for the album being synthpop and jacks production is counted as synthpop ! someone please locate that page on here.

i agree. lana has never been a stand alone "pop" artist to me because her whole persona and genre is defined as alternative. she does have some instrumentals here and there that do have a sense of pop but under all that she still has an alternative flair to her.

i'm honestly just happy she's pulling another move like she did with Dan Auerbach and producing with someone who has their own title as an artist. someone who understands that as an artist you have a clear vision of what you want and someone that can mold something WITH you instead of FOR you. kind of felt like Rick Nowels was getting repetitive and that lana needed to switch it up a bit to exceed a new sound in her career. lets all be real, who helped create UV with lana the most? DAN. and who's going to help create one of the best lana albums of all time? JACK.

i have always dreamed of a moment where Jack and Lana collab and create music together and it's finally happening. Jack has the potential to create emotions/universes like no other with his production such on hard feelings, supercut, the Louvre, slow disco, and etc. he has the talent where he won't expose lana to a too poppy sound. this album will be THE album that's on Ultraviolence level, not in sound, but for the passion that is hidden in each melody and lyric.

they just LOVE to play with our emotions as they know we are all hungry for a marina collab / ahs feature. this is far fetched tbh. but then again we don't have ANY clues it it's true !

i'm Latino and personally i find it funny. the Latino culture can be fun and cool to partake in at times. we have people dressing up as cholos and cholas for Halloween or for spirit week at schools. it's not necessarily disrespectful, it's flattering at how much of an influence your own culture can have on people to where they want to partake in it. LANA DEL REY IN ITSELF IS SPANISH, meaning wool of the king. i don't think Lana is being disrespectful or mocking the Spanish culture with that accent or with her stage name, rather she finds the culture appealing and exotic. she wants to take part in it which i don't think is disrespectful unless she stays true to who she really is.

i'm not complaining at all at how Lana isn't dragged through the industry to do constant promo, tours, etc. she is truly a legend, she gets #1 albums without doing anything to promote it and she gained a fanbase of millions without having ANY radio hits besides one which even then was not her own true art form since it was a remix. her attraction is from the pure voice and cinematic appearance she has. she doesn't bend to the public like ahemmm Halsey or Beyonce.
